Correct that was / is the most popular combination for the iPhone X. Due in large part to the number of customers that have an iPhone from the days when AT&T still had the iPhone Exclusive Contract. You may recall they were the only carrier to take a risk on Steve Job's crazy idea of what a Smartphone should be.

Not tied to Carrier but tied to "Demand", AT&T had a much higher demand for iPhones. They have continued to be the biggest customer base since the original iPhone.

Dave
Well, true but because the hardware is different the higher demand results in longer ship times for those of us waiting for the AT&T versions.

I have the same screenshot...we must have been on the same pallet. UPS confirmed a delivery window of 3-7pm tomorrow. A far cry from last week's 1-4 Dec. Just in time for the upcoming four-day weekend.

Mine is out for delivery as of this morning. By this evening I should be setting up my new iPhone X.

I ordered mine October 31st online with an Apple tech. It updated from a order date mid December to December 1st. I see many who had a similar dates have seen movement on their order. I haven't yet. I feel like a kid at Christmas time. I also sometimes feel it will never update. I keep checking

I tracked my shipment, and there haven't been scans on it in more than a day. What should I do?

Your package is moving within the UPS network and is going to be delivered on the scheduled delivery date. A package can remain in this status until delivery. Packages moving long distances are often not scanned again between origin and destination. Other than those receiving premium air service, packages may be delivered any time between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to residences, and close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.

This is from UPS website! my Phone hasn't moved From China since Friday! UPS claims Worldwide Expedited is a 3-5 day process from Asia. My phone shipped on the 18th China time (17th US time). I just checked and still in China, One hour from the 21st China time. It says it will be here Friday well that is 7 days so UPS lies about shipping times? I think there is a conspiracy between Apple and UPS

How is that logical? Neither company stands to have any benefit from giving you a false delivery date. The only way they actually benefit is to give you a date, and make or beat that date.

lmao a conspiracy

i heartily chuckled at that too but can also understand the frustration.

big brother is watching.... that i agree with... however, we are all willing participants and are in fact lining up, hitting F5 to our delivery trackers, eager for our discrete spying devices to be in our hands. we are the architects of our own problems.

It's US Customs in China. Yes they do the clearance in China so the phones can go through Korea or Alaska then to Louisville for final shipment within the US without further clearance. I think it's disconcerting that UPS changes the delivery date from a fixed date to nothing at all but it's out of "respect" for the Customs process. Rather than presume the phone will clear, they let you sweat and look at "unknown" delivery date for a few days until the phone clears, then it sails right through. Relax. Apple likes money. They like your money as much as they like mine. You'll get your phone. When my phone popped out of the customs "black hole" in China, the delivery date actually IMPROVED by 24 hours. Relax already.

VERY powerful statement!

Same boat my friend. Ordered a 256GB Silver Verizon IUP online on 10/31. In the 12/1 to 12/8 delivery window, no movement from Order in Progress yet.

Someone here mentioned an order date of 10/29 just went to Prepare for Shipping status yesterday so maybe there is still hope for us.

I´m on the same boat...

"is going to be delivered on the scheduled delivery date"
Now thats a strong statement...

Mine finally shipped. Ordered on 10/29 a 256 Silver ATT. I originally had a mid Dec expected delivery, then it was changed to Dec 1-8. Yesterday UPS showed a 11/24 delivery date, but now it’s waiting to be cleared with no date. Here’s my tracking, I’m so confused...

lmao a conspiracy

It was a joke, I know they are not in collusion with each other it was just a joking statement said in frustration. Just seems funny when you read UPS website regarding Worldwide Expedited:

  • Delivery within four or five business days from Europe, Asia, and Latin America
Although when you look at shipped on 18th which is a weekend in China I guess from the 20th to the 24th is 4 days with a holiday in between.

My Nov. 17 - Nov. 24th shipment of an SG 256, T-mobile IPhone X, has been stuck in China since I got an original shipping date of Nov. 14th. UPS "My Choice" was showing a delivery date for today, but the tracking showed it still in China(?) I called UPS this morning, and they told me this wasn't UPS's fault, but that Apple has a contractual agreement that slows everything down.

This is from a UPS Chat this AM:
Let me tell you that we have a contractual agreement with some shippers (Apple), which limits the amount of packages that can be handed over to UPS on any given day, when this amount is exceeded, as in this case, the packages may experience delays. We need first to complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped. My best advise is to keep on tracking the package on ups.com for further updates.

UPS Tracking still shows Delivery Date as Unavailable!!!!

Been stuck in China since Friday hopefully will start to see some movement later today since it is Monday already in China.
any updates?

My November 27 delivery date didn't change. But UPS just sent me notice that they tried to deliver today. Of course I was not home and this isn't something that one pre-signs for so that it is left on the porch. Hoping to intercept the delivery for tomorrow to a local pickup location. It would be great to get it before Thanksgiving Weekend. So I ordered on October 27, got initial December 15 time table, then two bumps on delivery and then stealth UPS bump forward another week. I think Apple has done it again in terms of getting a lot of supply out and available.

Now if they only hadn't dropped the ball on HomePod.

So my phone shipped on Friday and I have a delivery date for next Friday the 24th. Can’t wait to play around with it next weekend!

Mine shipped on Wednesday and is still sitting in Zhengzhou, Cn, delivery date 11/24 also

Looks like mine is due tomorrow. What an improvement from mid December I was quoted when I ordered mid-morning the first day. There were 2 long periods of no data, one clearing customs in China and one after it left Anchorage. We have an unprecedented level of visibility into the shipment of these things, not counting those who figure out how to track the UPS flights. Back in the day we had to go stand in line at UPS because we weren't home when the delivery guy showed up unexpectedly.

I had the same times as you starting 11/15 @ 11:01pm -11/17 "we're updating" after that nothing..
Said I would get on the 21st then change to the 22nd, now delivery date unavailable.
