I ordered my 8 gold for UPS delivery. If I go into apple store Friday morning and see the gold in person and don’t like it....woule the apple store let me exchange it for another color once mine is delivered?

You can return a web order in the store and then buy the one you want.

Yeah. I did this with my iPad Pro 10.5. Ordered online, 256GB Wifi, realized I'd prefer the 512BG Wifi/LTE. Took it an Apple Store and just payed the difference.
If you're looking for just a color swap, shouldn't cost anything.

Did anyone else’s package go from Nashville to Louisville and now back to Nashville? Sometimes I don’t understand.

Nashville (or near Nashville) is a staging facility that Apple has used for the last few years. If your phone was in a larger group, that group could have been sent to Louisville for UPS, where it would be broken down and then the individual phones arerouted to the correct area for delivery tomorrow. If you are near Nashville, it means you may see your phone do, what it did.

That happened when FedEx tried delivering my MacBook last October!! My dad was home all day waiting for it for me to sign, and they didn't even ring the doorbell when they attempted to drop it off! i ended up getting a notification saying that no one was home and they would redeliver the next day. Luckily i called them quickly enough ( i was stalking my email/tracking for the delivery notification) and they were able to swing back around about an hour later to deliver it. But same thing happened again... this time we left the authorization slip out just incase and they never knocked or anything, even after i told the guy to knock on the door because my dad was in fact home.

My 8+ has departed Harrisburg, PA. Should be headed to Syracuse,NY then Potsdam, NY before final delivery. It needs to arrive in Syracuse early tomorrow in order to get to me by delivery date.

I don’t see any flights out of Harrisburg Intl headed to Hancock Intl. That’s the normal UPS route. I stalk my packages all the time.

They may be trucking it somewhere for a different flight.
