Mine was charged on Sunday and then it dropped off today. Apple said everything is fine with my order.

Sometimes when a vendor "authorizes" a charge it appears to be a charge on the card, when it's not. Apple was authorizing cards before they shipped. The CC company leaves it on for a few days because they are expecting the charge. It drops off when the charge doesn't happen.

When I buy gas I often see an Apple Pay charge of $95 before I start pumping the gas. This is just the authorization which is replaced with the actual charge when the transaction is complete.

My package is on the move now... and showing no delay even though I changed the destination.

Mine is in Ontario California. If you call UPS there is a recording saying that Apple shipments cannot have the delivery address changed, and that shipments will be going to the original address the order was placed with. But when I spoke to a woman she said you can absolutely change the delivery address and it will be delivered on time. I hope UPS does not screw this up for millions of people with conflicting information.

I hope yours doesn't turn out like my brother's 7+ last year.

Yeah wondering the same. Ultimately, I had it changed before any origin scan, so I'm thinking I am in the clear.

Mine is still scheduled for pickup at 830 at my Apple store. Let’s hope the line isn’t too crazy
I am in the same boat, I hope there are not long lines. I feel pretty confident that my order will be available. We should know by the time we wake up in the morning

Me three. I’ve had terrible luck with preorder since the 6 launch. I know the 8 is not as crazy as any of those since a lot of people are drinking the kool aid for the X, but I’m still a tad worried.

I have you had an in store pick up, with a pick up date on launch day and then not received your phone on launch day?

My phone has made it to the local distro center. Super excited to get my slate grey 8 in my hands after seeing the pictures. My 6 is starting to lag with ios 11.

Nah I’ve never had a problem before. Unless Apple changed the rules for this launch. We will find out!

You should be. But what I’m saying is there’s a UPS recording stating Apple will not allow delivery changes. I am not sure if ups has ever stated that before with other launches. But when I spoke to a live person she said that recording is false. I think I may leave a pre-authorized signature at my home just in case.

I ordered yesterday since it moved to a 9/26 delivery date.

Just updated to preparing for shipment and my credit card was just charged.

Tomorrow?
