Last year, I also did store pick-up and my phone was not there. The store apologized for my inconvenience and gave me a case. My phone was ready 2 days later.

Were you notified prior or once you got to the store? I'll be pissed if I drive to store thinking they are there and they are not.

No emails whatsoever. I checked in and was pulled outside of the line and told me my phone did not arrive (IP7 Plus 256 Verizon).

Seems like an exception case. They usually have separate lines for preorders. I picked up my wifes matt black and we were in and out out in 10 minutes. My Jet Black was another story.

So my tracking shows my phone arrived at the WRONG customer center. In the opposite direction of the facility I requested

I totally understand. I used to live in Arkansas and closet store was in Tulsa (in another state). Not that we have so many as NY... but I have 6 Apple stores in 25 miles... and the one I am picking my phone is 2 minutes from my office.

Good deal! I'd prefer to move out of this area sooner rather than later, and living closer to an Apple Store is honestly a part of my ultimate decision of where to go

My items are all in Ontario -- I get my deliveries from there though... So, for me, at least, it's definitely at the right place.

I'm in OC, and mine went from Louisville to San Diego. Is probably on the truck now, headed to the closest Customer Center and out for delivery to my home in the a.m.

Did anyone else’s package go from Nashville to Louisville and now back to Nashville? Sometimes I don’t understand.

Just checked my order status and looks like they added tracking info for my trade-in kit! Funny enough my phone is coming in via UPS on Friday and the trade-in kit via FedEx this Saturday (according to the tracking). Thought they would arrive together, but glad the kit didn't hold my iPhone 8+ back hahaha.

I get the notification through mychoice. If it’s a customer center, it should be available when they open today. If it’s a store, it could be the next day or in this case, Monday.

UPS Customer Center is the way to go if there's one nearby. I got an email before 6:30 this morning saying mine was ready for pickup at 8:30 at the local CC.
