My Apple TV order has been ready for pickup with UPS since 4AM but my iPhone is sitting there not yet scanned in to be processed so I can pick it up as well. So much for thinking I could pick my packages right after they open at 8:30AM.

Looks like those of us with a 9/26 date may have to wait on that. No movement on our Preparing to Ship overnight. My guess is earliest could be Monday if they ship it today. Looks like the iUP upgraders get 2 shipments - 1 a trade in box and 1 the actual phone (from a post above).

Those with the Space Grey 8+ phones --- happy with the color? Is it easier to hold than the 6s+ and 7+ because of the glass back? Are you going caseless?

Oh God, don't tell me that. I had this issue with my iPhone 6+ and that was 5 days after the launch day, I had to call these nimrods. Also wanted to speak them to remove the goofy jacked up activation fee..since I WAS the one trying to activate it! They finally gave in after making numerous calls.
MAYBE it's because so many are trying to activate at once? Eh!
I usually listen to music with both earbuds in, but I don't want to so I can hear the doorbell ring.

Just picked up our phones at the UPS CC. So pleased I went with silver over the space gray. It’s much closer to white than silver and I’m coming to this from a Jet Black 7+.
Any questions or things you want me to test out and report back?
Wow, not bad! Well, now I know I should do store pickup in the future especially when theres an Apple store a few miles from me at the mall. I saw the long long line last year on launch day, figured I rather skip the potential crowds. I've already seen 3 UPS trucks drive by and...eh. I usually get deliveries around 2, 3pm

The silver model really is only silver on the edges. That’s the sleeper hit if this release.

I think so too. If I were going to order a X, it’d be silver. The space gray will show smudges and marks like the jet black did. It shouldn’t scratch as badly but it will cause anyone to develop OCD over the smudges.
ITS HERE!! I backed up my 6S this morning before I left on my MacBook at home but now its updating the backup on iCloud and is taking like 30 minutes. Which means I can't play with my new 8 till its done. Wireless charging is working great though so far. I got an Anker charger off of Amazon and just sat the phone on it and it worked like a charm. Now just need my cases to come in next week!
