I ordered a case for it a week ago, says iPhone 7+ on the package but from what I’ve read the two phones are basically the same size so it should be okay.

I got lucky I was sleeping when UPS came the driver rang twice praise Jesus my SG 8+ 256GB arrived overnight from CA to CO! I hope all my overnight brothers and sisters are working out!

Man I'm excited to see it! (gold is out for delivery) For some reason I'm on the "maybe I should have gotten silver" train too because the pics coming out are GORGEOUS..but like the rest of us, I usually have a case on too. But...oh man, if they release a red?!! My heart skipped a beat at that thought. Imagine the X in red??! Omg I would die
I think I made a mistake by having my 8+ shipped to my office. It's been out for delivery since 6:30 this morning. I could leave early, but I'm stuck here waiting for UPS to get around to making the delivery. (And if they deliver after 5:00, my phone will probably be locked in our mailing room until Monday.)
How'd you get the Belkin Boost Up wireless charger? I ordered it from Belkin's site on the 17th and they still have no idea when it will be shipped...
Nice!! Ok..I think I know what I'm about to do. I want to go back to Best Buy and return the IP7+ leather case (its just too slippery!) and exchange it for this in Black!
31 bucks with the price match at Best Buy. Still need a case though, I may go back to the trusty Silicone which has grip. Can't leave though until UPS comes. ugh.

If anyone is interested, I picked up the 7+ Supcase Unicorn Beetle (clear back) from amazon. Fits my 8+ like a glove, also love seeing the space gray "black" color and shiny apple logo come through on back. Definitely will show fingerprints on clear back side, but the buttons feel nice and it doesn't bulk up the phone.

Yeah, it sucked... but it's no one's fault... they were cool about it, and as frustrated as those of us there picking up packages... I managed to get my iPhone 8+ and AppleTV 4K at about 9 am - an hour after they opened... home now ready to do the deed with the new phone.
Out for delivery to the UPS access point. Can't wait to grab it after work! Looks like I made the right choice with "jet white" -- going to look awesome for a long time (and covered by APC!)

Saying they are hands down the worst is a bit hyperbolic. You ever worked for them? You know the strain these release events put on them? Maybe you have a bad driver. I deal with UPS on a daily basis for both commercial and residential and will take them over any other carrier everyday of the week.

Not sure this release put too much of a strain on my driver since My phone was the first one my driver delivered today and that was at 11:30. My driver was great though - he honked as he was parking in front of my house and I ran out into the yard to greet him!

I always have trouble with UPS. It is not hyperbole. I have been ordering things for delivery for a long time. Since before the internet. The only shipper to give me problems is UPS. I’ve never had a problem with FedEx or USPS. I am not exaggerating, simply stating a lifetime of experience.

Same here, mine just shows "Label created" on Fedex tracking, estimated delivery of the 26th. Really hoping it just missed some tracking updates...
