Any Canadians seeing tracking on UPS? Still nothing on my phone bound for Ontario.

Sometimes I'd see a pallet go from China Factory -> Anchorage Customs -> Midwest Airport -> Private truck delivery to store within under 24 hours. They'd ship something on actual launch day from factory and we'd have it for sale late Saturday in store. Miracles.

I believe it! I know I've seen my phone leave China the day before launch day and it's at my door on time.

You're wrong. If you have pre ordered before you wouldn't say this. All these years, we have seen so many delays during the shipment process but they make sure the device reaches on time. You will be surprised

My iPhone XS Max arrived 3-4 days after the date Apple stated. It was in customs for days with no movement. I called Apple and they said there was nothing they could do, because it had to be released in China. I was so frustrated and I hope that doesn’t happen to anyone here. Eventually a few days doesn’t matter but it surely did matter to me a couple of years ago!

From seeing photos of actual product now, it really makes me wonder why the official shots on Apple’s promos and site look so different! Cases and phones, the colors look so different in real-world photos.

When I worked at an Apple Store many years ago, sometimes I would track our incoming pallet shipments. Most came from distribution warehouses and sent via FedEx Freight, but during launch times we'd get drop shipments directly from China.

Sometimes I'd see a pallet go from China Factory -> Anchorage Customs -> Midwest Airport -> Private truck delivery to store within under 24 hours. They'd ship something on actual launch day from factory and we'd have it for sale late Saturday in store. Miracles.

One launch year I had to get a delivery at 3AM from 2 dudes in a truck with additional iPhones, just a few hours before launch.

In the first few years they had armed guards accompany the UPS/FedEx trucks to AT&T and Apple stores for launch shipments, and then private security to watch the iPhones until launch day 48 hours later.

Omg! Wow! such a small world. I just graduated with a Masters degree 📜 from UNLV! Class of 2020, UNLV alumni here. My bachelors was in Business Management. Living near Henderson area.

Thankfully didnt get the silver especially after that photo. LOVE the sides but the pasty white is hideous. I dont use cases. Got graphite and will await the day we see a true black again like the 7. Lol

If you think you’ll use the tele lens and extra photo/video features, then yes.

Build quality is nicer (stainless steel band) and better camera upgrades/features on the Pro. I think the Pro has 6 gig ram vs 4 gig ram on the regular 12. If that's worth it to you then go for it.
