I’m thinking of going from the Pro Max to the iPhone 12 Pro.

I couldn’t really adapt to the Pro Max size, the damm thing is just too big... I assume it’s pretty good for gaming and watching movies and so but usually I use my phone for Reddit/texting and browsing the web.

Going to 6.1 seems like a really good

I think 6.1" is the sweet spot, but I'm curious on what the experience would be with the 5.4". Technically the screen should only be .1" different from my 8+, but I feel that overall it would feel like a toy iPhone after having the 8+ all this time.

It would be ideal if I could receive the 5.4" and the 6.1" Pro at the same time to play with both before deciding, but looks like the Pro's will ship later.

I don't want to be hitting Alt+Tab and keep switching the screen at work. Might as well take the day off and enjoy the event. It won't hurt.
Nah. I'm not really into wasting my time watching the entire show and I find it rather boring so I'll just wait till I get back home and just watch it at my leisure.

Edit: and of course I just skip a lot of them and just go straight to the chase.

Let’s hope we can all pre-order the pro max models too. I dont want to wait till November :/

I hope so. I found this old email I received from Apple in 2017 for the X. I can’t even remember the day I preordered with T-Mobile but I received it on launch day.

I just requested a day off from work. I’ll be watching the event at home in peace

I’m thinking of using a day of annual leave for that day because I have a doctor’s appointment which of course is virtual and I can’t take a 45 minute break which we throw me off of delivering my route in 8 hours with 1.5 hours of overtime and it’s the day after a holiday, which is a catastrophe. I would rather be at home that day.

You might as well take the day off.

Does anyone think Apple is going to going to do in-store pickup this year with some malls being open? Then again, I guess it’s either they’d have to offer it where they can or not do it all and just do delivery?

Ordering it online would be your safest bet! I hope they don't roll it out to the entire world like they did with Apple Watch.

IF the Apple store near you is open, then you will have the in-store pick up option. They did that with the watch 6 as well. And of course if that mall is open.

Good idea also in case they break the iPhone trend and allow preorders instantly after event.
Hoping that's not the case this year. It's been several days (Friday 12 AM PT, 5 AM recently) after the event in past years.

I don't think they will break the iPhone trend. They did it for Apple watch because they're not like iPhones, Not really high in demand that much. I'm 99% sure pre-ordering will take place on a Friday.
