There’s a reason for that. Apple has likely found through big data that Americans are more likely to yearly upgrade than anywhere else in the world, whereas Germans are less likely, so they see it as an unworthy business opportunity currently.
If you have an iPhone 8 or newer, you really don't. No real upgrades. You can wait for the 13.

What can you do with the 12 you cant do with the 8? Open apps .8 seconds faster?
Ultra wide, more RAM, better quality cameras (front and back), better speakers, better screen (and more of it), 5G (if you can get it), better battery life, and micro improvements for Quality of Life.

5 more weeks of a wait! So annoying right. I don’t think many people will be ordering the iPhone 11.
if there is honestly no difference between the pro and pro max except size and a bigger sensor, then I am going to order the pro during the first week and not wait. I dont need that big of a phone anyway.
Our daughter lives in the Netherlands and we usually go to see her twice a year (except with Covid). The biggest screen size is great for watching videos on long plane trips from California to Europe so I will always get the largest iPhone! I hate waiting until the 3rd week in November for the 12 Pro Max (even though we won’t be on a plane for awhile). Another daughter is waiting for my XS Max as well. It is now all paid off with 1UP since I skipped the iPhone 11 upgrade last year.

Or you could say that it’s actually going to be an early Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas present to yourself. I know my wife will be happy as she’s getting my 11 Pro Max when I upgrade to the 12 Pro Max, as she’s wanted my 11PM for a year now (she loves the green color and the larger screen than her XR).

if you compare regular iPhone 11 to iPhone 11 Pro Max - there is a huge difference in specs. I would rather just wait to get the right thing.

I may just order the iPhone 11 Pro model and play around with it for two weeks until I order The iPhone that I want the Pro Max model. I’m seriously tired of the waiting. Still can’t believe it is delayed till November.
Same. The 11PM was getting to be bigger than I wanted anyhow. I think I'll be fine with 6.1 Pro for $100 less and a month less wait.
That’s exactly what I used to do. It worked out perfectly and I always took that day off to go back to sleep.
My birthday is October 12th so I can wait for my gift... for 5 weeks!
