I am wondering what could be going on? Maybe all of the iPhone orders are causing the UPS system to not update their tracking details on My Choice. But this is confusing.
It’ll work, it’s the same size sim. I think what others are saying (which is a valid point) is it would be best to get a new SIM card from your service provider to just make sure you’re taking advantage of any new technologies that might be in that SIM card. I plan on just putting my SIM card from my iPhone 8 in my new iPhone 12 pro, but will make an effort to get over to AT&T at some point since my sim is 3+ years old
I think if you buy two phones at the same time, you can pick them up together. But if you got one after another, I think you'd have to wait.
I figured FedEx and UPS would do the same thing that we at the Post Office do. For items requiring a signature, we attempt delivery of the item by knocking on the door. I always have my mask on anyway, stand 6 feet back from the front door and wait for the owner to answer. Once they confirm delivery of the item I sign for them and scan our 3849 form with their name, my name, route number, C19 and their address. During that process they don’t touch my scanner nor my pen and I maintain a 6 foot distance. So far it has worked for me during the entire pandemic.
I’m going to check Verizon’s map again to see if they turned the light on for 5G in my area.

You can, but Apple always recommends using the new sim that comes with a device if ordering a carrier specific model or if unlocked obtaining a new SIM card free from them and or your carrier (carriers should not charge an existing customer with an active line for a sim swap). Apple mentions this during checkout I believe, as a new SIM card ensures optimal and expected voice and data performance from the device.
This happens every year. The phones travel palletized so they aren’t physically scanned like a normal package. They update the tracking for a pallet at a time and sometimes they’re very delayed in doing so. It’s common to see entries out of order. Two years ago my phone said it was still in China when it was delivered in the US, and then all the entries/exits appeared after it was delivered.
If you have an iPhone made in the last several years, you already have a nano rather than micro SIM
It has nothing to do with the release of the package. It’s because they travel palletized. They’re always out of order and delayed.

I have a new Covid purse. It's tiny and has a cross body strap. I never put it down and just wear it the entire time I'm out. Just enough room for my (non Max!) iPhone, car keys, a few cards, and a small hand sanitizer bottle.Not every female carry a purse. Due to COVID I haven’t been anywhere besides work, car repair shop, ups store and grocery store and haven’t carried a purse to any of them. I carry my phone in either my hand or pocket. On the off chance I do carry a purse, I don’t store my phone in it because I want quicker access to my phone

Really? I don’t feel too bad then, I guess ours will be going to AK on the same plane. There was one that left China this morning at 7 am and I hope it’s on that one, but I didn’t see a new scan. Maybe it is and the scan is just behind. *fingers crossed*

It’s not the same type as the one I saw in a video that fell off fast. The one I’m getting is a full case and card slots inside.

Yes. I actually prefer this. I don't want a wallet that's attached to my phone 24/7. I like that it's convenient to easily attach/remove.
And looking more closely at the wallet itself, the backside of it has a cut out to easily remove cards, meaning this was Apple's intention.
Still preparing to ship but it’ll be here Friday
