Apple said no, its requires a 20w charger. The one included with the 11 PRO/MAX was 18w. So I find it insane.Does anyone know if we can use the USB-C adapter included in the 11 Pro box with the Magsafe charger?
that's some major bs right thereApple said no, its requires a 20w charger. The one included with the 11 PRO/MAX was 18w. So I find it insane.
Oh sorry! Misunderstood! I'm hopeful someone can answer youI mean the 18W brick that was included in the Pro box
I know my OCD had me order the new 20 just for that, Apple playing with me haha. Even though the 18 would only likely charge slightly slower.Apple said no, its requires a 20w charger. The one included with the 11 PRO/MAX was 18w. So I find it insane.
Don’t you have to appear in person and say your name on the package? My order has said contactless delivery, so it seems that no signature is required this year. Come to think of it, we get tons of UPS shipments every week at work and I haven't had to sign for something since February.
It would just charge slower and be less optimal. So me and most my coworkers ordered that 20 watt haha. So, we can't use iPhone Pro Max Model Adapter??? to the new iPhone 12?
Dang! Looks like i'll be ordering one right now I guess SMH.It would just charge slower and be less optimal. So me and most my coworkers ordered that 20 watt haha.

AT&T said that using an existing SIM card will work and you can get 5G. But to actually access 5G you have to have an unlimited data plan/Quick side note: anybody else buy an unlocked phone and plan on putting their AT&T SIM card in it? I know it’ll work, they’re the same size, and I know I’ll be able to use the phone as normal. But what I don’t know is if I’m missing out on any features because I have a 3 year old SIM card from my iPhone 8 that I’ll be using. I don’t think I will, but anybody who has done this for AT&T before and can shed some light I’d greatly appreciate it!
Apple played us with that, knowing they put that on the box we all would order it cause ill be dammed if my apple power infrastructure is less then what is recommended.Dang! Looks like i'll be ordering one right now I guess SMH.
Yikes! I wish they’d do that with a $1000 iPhone.Nope. I've never had a UPS driver ask me for my name first before giving me a package.
Correct, the only carrier explicitly requiring new SIM cards is Verizon to ensure proper 5G provisioning per their support article on activating the iPhone 12's.AT&T said that using an existing SIM card will work and you can get 5G. But to actually access 5G you have to have an unlimited data plan/
Wow! I can’t believe FedEx doesn’t have contactless delivery! Good luck with your Covid test. Feel better.Just discovered that FedEx's Contactless delivery is not so contactless.
I purchased a case, 20W charger, and the MagSafe charger and they were just delivered. The problem is that I woke up on Sunday feeling awful and I was advised to take a COVID-19 test. I got tested on Monday and I'm still awaiting my results. Meanwhile, the FedEx delivery man requested a signature. I told him through the closed glass patio door that I'm waiting for results and shouldn't touch his scanner and he got annoyed that I couldn't provide a physical signature. Does FedEx not have procedures for this? Anyway, he left the two packages on my doorstep without a signature. Will they leave my iPhone on Friday? (Hopefully my test comes back negative by then!)
Dang! Looks like i'll be ordering one right now I guess SMH.
Micro Sim, not nano sim like in the 11 Pro. You can use your nano sim from an iphone 11 in an iPhone 12From the Apple iphone 12 page
- Dual SIM (nano‑SIM and eSIM)12
- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are not compatible with existing micro‑SIM cards.

Is it the same as What Apple's selling???I’m glad I also ordered the new iPad Air which will have a 20W usb-c brick included 🙌🏻🙌🏻
isn't it $5 for a Sim Card?Perfect! I have an unlimited plan so 5G is accessible. But with the recommendations of getting a new SIM with each new iPhone I may just swing into my local AT&T and grab one
You mad?So who was the "expert" who previously said in this thread that there's no way Apple will be able to hold all these phones until we get closer to Friday. Well guess what, they're damn sure doing just that. My phone along with many, many other peoples' phones left AK Monday night which means they've been sitting somewhere since then.....
I would do the exact same thing, but having switched off Verizon less than two weeks ago, I think my sim card adequately new.Perfect! I have an unlimited plan so 5G is accessible. But with the recommendations of getting a new SIM with each new iPhone I may just swing into my local AT&T and grab one
No, Apple Stores and most carriers will give you a replacement simcard at no cost if you ask. Now if you dont have an existing account and come in trying to get one yes they will charge you, T-Mobile also charges $10 for their SIM cards because they bought Sprint and think they are hotsh*t now.Is it the same as What Apple's selling???
