Hey everyone! I’ve got a 12 Pro 256gb Pacific Blue coming on Friday! Apple really got me on cases this year, I normally use their leather cases, but since they aren’t coming for a few weeks yet, I ended up getting a clear case and a silicon in Plum because I don’t know which I’ll like better. Will probably still pick up a leather when those launch too, lol

I just realized I ordered two phones, the app was ****ed up when I was ordering so I started a new order. It charged me for the second one today and I now have two PB iPhone 12 Pro on their way arriving Friday.
Anyone looking to buy an iPhone 12 Pro this weekend? lol
That almost happened when I ordered my case and charger. Glad I checked my email before trying again because it went through even with an error.

For everyone whose phone is stuck with the last update being "In Transit - 10/19 8:34pm - Anchorage, AK - Departed from Facility", our phones are sitting in Louisville, KY. Very likely you will see departure from Louisville tonight and heading for your nearest UPS hub.

I expect it to sit in Louisville until tomorrow. They will ship them tomorrow night to hubs to prevent them from accidentally arriving to customers near a hub tomorrow. They are capable of delivering a package from Louisville to anywhere in the country in less than a day.

There's another Air China Cargo flight making an unusual stop in SDF arriving tomorrow morning. My guess is that they'll wait for all the pallets with launch day iPhones to arrive before breaking them down for individual scans and sorting, so expect that to happen no earlier than 9:30 AM EDT tomorrow (when the cargo flight is scheduled to arrive SDF).

Right? No one claimed to know for sure haha some people get so worked up.

The reason why I posted what I said earlier was because I kept saying Apple is going to hold the phones and someone fired back at me by telling me I don't know everything. The same person also said it wouldn't be possible for Apple to hold the phones for a few days because carriers like UPS wouldn't have anywhere to store that many phones.

Well guess what, they did. They've been sitting somewhere in the states since Monday night.

I couldn’ forget that. I’ve already voted! I hope the elections make the time go faster for the iPhone preorder. Lol
I registered to vote but still am unsure if I can simply show up to a polling place and vote or if I need to do something else. I have a passport and drivers license if they require first time voter ID, but I found the website explaining it to be oddly unclear.

This will be a long 16 days, just to order that is
75% why I got the Pro and not the Max this year, 25% I actually wouldn't mind having a smaller easier to handle device.

Before you buy an Apple charger, look at other options. There are a ton of USB-C chargers available for less money than Apple charges and with more features.

iPhone 12 Charger, AUKEY Swift 30W 2-Port USB C Charger for iPhone 12/12 Mini/12 Pro Max, USB C Wall Charger with Foldable Plug, PD Charger for iPad Pro, iPhone SE, iPhone 11 Pro Max, AirPods Pro https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086MWBMG4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dKjKFb4P1ZS2Z

Mine Samsung & Anker charger did not work properly. Gave me very slow speeds with Magsafe.

Someone posted a video of UPS world port, Apple has their own dedicated wing to handle all their stuff including what included a giant holding cell where a pallet of that years launch day iPhones were sitting.

is MagSafe supposed to give you faster Qi speeds on other wireless products? Figured it needed to work on iPhone 12's. Does it mean it will give iPhone 11 Pro's faster charging also?

100% of my reason lol. I have the 11PM, and I would have gone the 12PM, but didn’t want to wait three more weeks. I just justified it as, the regular size might actually be better, since how often do I watch movies on my phone anyway? And then I figured it’s $100 cheaper and probably will save $50 from one less IUP.

I believe I read that there is a 14 day return policy and since it will be an online return, you would have 14 additional days to actually return it. So if I decide I want the Max, I can always initiate a return on November 5th, order a 12PM, and return it when the 12PM comes in. Of course it’ll cause a mess with the IUP, but Apple is pretty damn good with customer service.
