is MagSafe supposed to give you faster Qi speeds on other wireless products?

I am charging Airpods pro with it and i can't tell for sure if they are charging fast or slow. Currently I dont have an iPhone which can be charged wirelessly. Which wirelss products are you thinking about?

I registered to vote but still am unsure if I can simply show up to a polling place and vote or if I need to do something else. I have a passport and drivers license if they require first time voter ID, but I found the website explaining it to be oddly unclear.

Your non-expired driver license should be fine, as well as your passport. if your license shows a different address than where you are registered, bring a utility bill showing your current address. Make sure you know the polling place for your area. If possible, utilize early voting.

iPhone 11 Pro, I mean it would be neat if it did, but I figured it would be capped in the hardware. I already used it on my AirPods Pro worked fine, though it does get warm. You do need at least a PD charger to make it work. I tried it with a small battery I had, didn't notice it wasn't rated at PD speed, didn't work. I used a bigger battery that was rated at 40w and it worked fine after that.

@Think creative - if the camera was your breaking point - why not go all the way for the 12 Pro Max with the better telephoto and optical image stabilization? I really wanted that camera myself, but the Max size is just too big for my uses. Just saying...i know it's yet another $100+ price jump again.
size actually. Not price. I think the 6s+ is just slightly wider than I want, and the 12 and 12 pro are slimmer but have bigger screens. Basically the sweet spot. 12 pro max does have the best camera, but is back in that 6s+ range. 12 pro photo wise will still blow away my old phone i figure. and the 6 gigs of ram this year won't make a difference, but for future proofing I realized if I plan on keeping the phone longer (3-4 years) the better it will handle updates and feeling "fast". the $120 dollar difference there made sense.

Yes I think iPhone 11 Pro Max is capped at 7.5W or 10W as compare to iPhone 12's 15W wireless charging speed as you mentioned. I have Airpod Pro on charging for about 45 minutes and they got little warm too. Yes PD & compatibilty both affects the charging speed.

Ugh. Apple site still shows “preparing for shipment” with a 10/23 delivery. I found the tracking number by using my phone number as reference. It shows that it is expected to deliver Friday, but it’s still in China! I mean realistically, how fast can it get her if it started moving right this minute?
Also, if I look at the info on the UPS app with My Choice, it shows an “exception” it doesn’t tell me what the exception is, and I don’t see it if I look at the tracking info on the UPS website.

100% of my reason lol. I have the 11PM, and I would have gone the 12PM, but didn’t want to wait three more weeks. I just justified it as, the regular size might actually be better, since how often do I watch movies on my phone anyway? And then I figured it’s $100 cheaper and probably will save $50 from one less IUP.

I believe I read that there is a 14 day return policy and since it will be an online return, you would have 14 additional days to actually return it. So if I decide I want the Max, I can always initiate a return on November 5th, order a 12PM, and return it when the 12PM comes in. Of course it’ll cause a mess with the IUP, but Apple is pretty damn good with customer service.
I’m fine waiting for what I want, I don’t want to be “that guy” who takes a new phone away from someone else just to have it early, only to exchange it for something else later on. It must be annoying for the employees to deal with too.

I'm throwing in just another data point.
I got my tracking update via UPS notification this afternoon.
Some basic info on my order:

When did I order: 10/16 08:01am EDT
What did I order: 12 Pro Pacific Blue 128GB
Where do I live: NY, USA

I subscribe to UPS Push Notifications for any packages addressed to me. That's how I found out.
This is also my first update since the 6s in 2015.

I see a bunch of Reference Numbers on the tracking, one is my 10 digit phone number, another is my order number without the last 2 digits (which happen to be 00).
