Delivery estimate of 10/30-11/4 for a 12 Pro 512 in Graphite just got charged and updated to preparing to ship. Looks like some of the later estimates "may" be pulling forward already.
Still patiently awaiting arrival at the UPS distribution center in Greensboro, NC. Looks like they sent mine there by truck again this time.

I pre-ordered a phone and will be picking it up in-store tomorrow afternoon, what's the possibility of me being able to purchase a 2nd phone on the spot for my cousin who didn't pre-order? I get that there may be limited colors/capacities, if any at all. Just curious to know if anyone has bought a phone at the store on launch day without a pre-order.
2 or 3 years ago ,I saw a local news story about a man who had made a deal to sell his iPhone locally. He agreed to meet the buyer at a local McDonald’s. When the buyers arrived they pulled out guns and took his phone. So he was out his phone, the money,and risked getting shot. He could have sold his phone to a service for about a hundred dollars less than a local price. Risking getting shot is not worth a hundred dollars to me.
from the 12:24 Anchorage crew, finally got my import scan in KY! And it looks like there’s a chance that UPS may still honor my delivery window!
I picked up my phone last year, and they had two lines, one for walkups and another for appointments. I arrived at the correct time, and still had to wait a good 30-45 minutes. I would recommend showing up a few minutes BEFORE your appointment, because there will be a lot of other people with the same appointment time as you. I did go in the afternoon though, so with every appointment block, they added to the backlog, so 9AM might not be as big of a deal.

Less then 24 hours left folks! for some 12 hours... we’ll have our iPhone.
Interesting movement here. Typically it goes to another facility after Oakland in the north bay for the destination scan.
From a quick Google search, it seems Decluttr is not a worthy place to sell your phone either. So I don't know if it's worth it.

It will probably still go there. The second scan is probably reflecting the move from the airport facility to a ground distribution center, which would then truck it to your local station.
How do you get ripped off from selling a phone privately? I meet people in public locations. They give me cold hard cash and I give them a phone. They're happy, my wallet is happy. It's a win win for the both of us.
