I have to go through similar torture. My UPS CC is only a quarter of a mile away from my apartment, yet one of the last places they deliver to.
My buddy works as FEDEX. They were told they must delivery all packages unless it endangered themselves. Other than that, dump and run. I am sure UPS is the same.
Ah, I thought it just depended on the driver... I stand corrected. This bodes well for me though. I hope! Thanks.
They aren't. "Can be left in a safe place at the drivers discretion"

Don't get me wrong. Ethics is a big issue in 2020. Up above they talk about drivers having the ability to not delivery and such. We could start our own forum with that conversation. lol
Does this make sense to anyone else? Haven't seen anyone else have this issue with their phone arriving in the correct city, but the next day go back to Louisville?
I contacted UPS and I was transferred around, no one could give me a correct answer. The international dept. is saying it needs to be held in Louisville for 2 days, but that should just be on Wednesday (to make Friday delivery). I feel like something is just not right with this tracking info.
Thats not a CC then it's a UPS store. CC is the hub where the trucks leave from if you chose the actual CC it would have never been put on a truck for delivery.
"Fedex drivers must deliver all packages" is the biggest pile of BS statement I've heard. Ive had stuff marked delivered without the driver ever on the street. Ive had stuff out for delivery for days without an attempt.
In my case, when I go on the app there is a big follow my delivery button on my tracking details page.
I’ve seen this before, I don’t think the phone physically was sent back to Louisville, it’s just somehow the import scan was missed and they corrected it.

My blue Pro 12 was scheduled for Nov 3-6 and now I have come to find out that my local Apple stores (6) had them in stock all this time!
There were Saturday pickups available but they are over 30 miles away.
I chose the closest one in Brea, CA for Sunday pickup.

Don't think it was missed. There is one on there from 10/22 at the time when most people where getting them.
That looks very nice. Would you say the back is more grey or black? I feel like catching the light makes a huge difference for graphite this time around.
Yeah, I learned my lesson.
Never will I wake up at 5am, pay for the phone, get charged immediately, then told its 3 week backorder to only find out that the Apple stores near me have them all in stock !!

Yeah, I'm in Cali too and when I pre-orderd the Northridge store didn't have it "Available for pick up" but I didn't click on the link (I just assumed stores were still shut down). I realized after it was too late I made a fatal mistake. There was no changing it after I placed the order. Same with today now that mine is "preparing to ship"... I'm glad you were able to cancel and do a pick up. If they just ship my package in the next day or two I'll be okay. <3
