I almost did this but I knew my husband would have THOUGHTS about my inability to be patient. Again, I was stuck because I really want to be on the Verizon monthly plan. I didn't know if I could still do that if I returned the phone that had my # attached.

I stopped in Best Buy near me just to see what the colors looked like in person, they ONLY had the Gold pro available and on display. Love the way it feels, I think that size will be absolutely perfect for those who hate the large phones...not happy with small ones - really a prefect size for many.

That Gold color though...and this is just my own opinion, I just did not like the way the shiny sides looked. To me it almost looked plastic, best way to describe it....like a C3PO toy. LOL. I'm nit picking, That's just the shiny sides, the back looked slick...the shape and how back, front blend in is nice.. I'm sure many will love it. But it felt super fast though running on 14.1, MUCH faster obviously compared to my XS Max.

But now I REALLY wanna see what the Pacific Blue looks like in person, I hope - in my eyes- it doesn't looks "plastic" - and then compare that with Graphite. Ah...stupid choices!

Local Apple stores near me also has Gold and a few graphites in stock, Silver and P.B. are no where to be found near me.

If it makes ya feel any better about being impatient I legit couldn't sleep till 4AM and got up at 8AM to drive an hour round trip to pick mine up from UPS. Nothing wrong with being excited about something you love! Everyone has a hobby and obsessing over new Apple products is ours.

That's what I'm saying. I feel sorry for some things that go wrong with deliveries but entering your address wrong and then wanting others to fix it isn't one. You could have updated your current address before pre orders so you couldn't have selected an old one. After ordering if you where In a hurry check your order.

In all seriousness, my order is seriously effed up. I had to make an address change to it and it's been in a weird state since. I'm not convinced it will ever ship. That's why I decided to go this route.

I didn't order the Pro (Waiting for Pro Max) - but also in the Philly area, the UPS driver dropped off packages to my neighbors around 12:30pm. That is insanely early for my area.

I just HOPE in 3 weeks (if I get a smooth preorder that is) this UPS driver will be early. I have never received anything coming form UPS before 2:30-4pm. Sometimes after 6pm.

"hear the truck pull up" - UPS trucks, LOL I know that engine sound so well...it's a very distinctive sound.

Yup the truck is always in the same spot for 4+ hours. Their definition of almost is different than mine. At least when I get Amazon notifications, it also shows how many stops and it is never more than 1/2h to 1h before it is delivered

How many of you are using/plan to use a screen protector? Coming from an iPhone 7, the screen seems a little precarious. I already have a case, wondering if I should get a screen protector or not.
 
Got to the UPS CC 30 minutes early, was 2nd in line. I was back in my car with phone in hand by 10:03am.

Already put a screen protector on.

I'm stuck at the AT&T confirm your number screen. Can't get past it.
 
UGH my 12 pro was originally estimated for 10/30, and I was charged yesterday, then it flipped into SHIPPED this morning! Still shows a 10/30 delivery date, and it's still in China. This is what I get for preordering my husband and son's phones first, they're coming today! (first world problems, I know)

Nope I'm going with the fact AppleCare is $200 so I'm going to enjoy my phone and if the screen breaks the $29 screen replacement is cheaper than any good screen protector. Plus why not try out that "Ceramic Shield".

Had a weird bug when I tried to restore from iCloud. 12 Pro backed up my iPhone X and then restored from that. Well when it finished, WiFi wasn't staying connected and I have poor cell coverage in my area so I knew the restore wouldn't complete. Looking at the settings screen, you could see the toggle for VPN flickering on and off. I use Private Internet Access so I'm not sure if there was an issue with the VPN even though it wasn't downloaded yet.

I then erased the phone completely and did the restore except this time I did it directly from my iPhone X via direct transfer. Fixed the problem and its downloading the remaining apps now.
