It’s finally here. Congratulations to all receiving their new iPhone. Hope to see you guys on iPhone 12 Pro Max Launch. 12 days to go! This madness will start all over again. 😊 This was just a beginning. Thank you Apple for releasing an iPhone even during this pandemic tough times.

You can always order for pickup today, and then request your first order it to be held at UPS and when you get home, return it.

Yes put the SIM in before you turn it on. And best to turn off the old phone too and turn it back on if you want to use the QR to transfer once the new phone activates and gets to that step

so both phones off, transfer sim to new phone, boot new phone, boot old phone?

Just take the SIM out and put it in the new phone. If your not activating a new SIM card it really doesn't matter. I switch phones all the time both on and move the SIM between them. I legit had my sim in my SE on and setup my 12 Pro without the SIM took it out of my SE and put it in with them both on. Nothing blew up.

just my luck...still says delivering today but there’s zero bad weather so I’m unsure what “emergency situation” is and “delivery will be rescheduled” makes me nervous

Mine was showing that all day too and it just appeared at my door about 30 minutes ago. There is still hope for you

You don’t by chance have the silver 11Pro do you? I’m trying to get a sense if the 12Pro is more white or pearly like the 11Pro was. I’m hoping they’re moving more to white.

I also live in Des Moines and had the same change from 10/23 - 10/26. I just happen to look and now see my date changed back to 10/23 and says out for delivery for today but I'm not convinced yet.

I have the Space Gray 11 Pro and just got the Silver 12 Pro in. From what I’ve seen and heard this silver is a bit more white and not as shimmery.

For anyone wondering no the MagSafe does not fall off or come close to it when picking the phone up. 100% usable while charging with it.

There is no logic lol. They are slammed. I tipped my UPS driver at the beginning of the year, he gave his cell number. I text him @ 9am he says meet me in 10 at the bottom of your road. Best money I ever spent! Anyways, I went into the truck as he couldn't find it due to the truck being loaded to the brim, I went in and found it immediately lmao. He still has my Pitaka case somewhere on the truck, I said don't worry about it I can wait until later on that one. This is what I came for.

I have a 2 hour confirmed window on another (non-Apple) delivery. 1:30 to 3;30, let’s see if that works.

Confirmed delivery windows are not the same as "time guaranteed" deliveries. You're not charged if the confirmed delivery window is missed, but any "time guaranteed" commitments missed result in full refunds back to the shipper.

Correct but the UPS Service Guarantee is not in effect right now due to covid.

I paid money for an 2 hour delivery block, and I got charged but didn't happen so I had to go though a huge process.

My credit card disagrees I paid 8 bucks to pick a 2 hour window and it didn't deliver but I was still charged. UPS didn't know why that happened but said it was an "system error"
