Now I can’t decide if I wanna save more money and get the 12 or spend more with the Pro Max. While I notice the battery life difference I still end the day with 30+ % granted I have yet to have a night out with the phone and that’s where I feel it might get dicey but how often am I going out these days 😒
In the end, you’ll be fine either way. Go with whatever phone you like the most. I’m complaining about my battery, but forgetting to mention that it’s not draining below 50% or anything. I’m just use to flexing it all morning and seeing it at 85%ish whereas the 12 is dropping to 70-75%ish.

100% this the battery isn’t bad the way people keep screaming at least not with my usage but I’m use to the Max and just feeling like it didn’t even drain 😭

UPS Friday - waited for delivery all day. Finally had to be at the hospital for work by 5 PM for my shift. So missed the package and it said online that delivery was attempted at 8:30 PM EST. Came home at 8:15 AM EST the next day. No note was left on my door which is unusual.

UPS Saturday - I am home and eagerly awaiting package delivery. I keep staring out my window, etc... I also keep refreshing UPS online tracking. My windows face the main street and I did see a UPS truck enter the apartment complex at around 1 PM EST. I was sure this was going to be it! Then 5 minutes later saw it leave... Figured it could be some priority mail... No problem. I'll keep waiting. 4 PM EST - refresh UPS online tracking - Delivery Attempted at 3:15 PM EST. What???? I was shocked. I was literally sitting on my couch waiting for the package. I heard no knock. Literally doubt they even came... Mind you my couch is like 10 feet from the door...

I call UPS at 4:30 PM EST - frustrated, but respectful and tell them my situation. She acknowledges that is is very unusual and first time she's heard of a note not being left on the first "try". I also tell her there is no way someone knocked on my door at 3:15 PM EST for delivery. She say's she's sorry and that Monday will be another attempt. I tell her to please call the driver and tell the driver to come back! She acknowledges my frustration, and says she will notify dispatch and takes my number down. She says dispatch should call me within the hour.

6:30 PM EST - I call back. No call from dispatch. They say again - oh Monday will the attempt. I re-iterate my story and she says let me upgrade to dispatch as URGENT. She assures me I will receive a call within the hour because she has documented properly this time.

8:00 PM EST - I call back. No call from dispatch. I tell them I was told because of the URGENT status I will definitely be receiving a call from dispatch. I am told Monday is the attempt. I re-iterate my frustration. Finally he says ok it will be delivered by the end of the day today. I ask, what does "end of the day" mean? He says until 9:30 PM. He also says I will DEFINITELY get my package today. He is assuring me that this time I will definitely get a call and the package.

Let’s be real UPS gives 0 F’s about us and or the delivery drivers don’t care. Y’all hold at the center or pickup at apple store cause I cannot between being last on the drivers route for a day and then stuff like this happening ughh 🙄

Thank you for that. Makes me feel better about my phone lost at the UPS facility a half hour away from my house. Never had so much trouble receiving a shipment

That sucks. I haven’t had any delivery issues with UPS i did have one where a 2 day air pickup wasn’t picked up as scheduled (fault of UPS) even though the pickup was scheduled by the cut off. I called and asked them to upgrade it to next day air so that they delay in pickup wouldn’t affect the delivery date and they did that no problem.

Out of USPS FedEx and UPS I’d say UPS cares the most about actually fixing mistakes to get you your stuff. I’m sure it‘s not that they don’t care but it’s been really busy lately I’m sure they are working extra hard. There are more time sensitive deliveries other than your iPhone.

I don't doubt they work hard. But if they really cared why are they telling me dispatch will be calling me and assuring, and assuring me? At least give me a call and tell me it's not possible....?

Why was there no note left on the door if they came by? No knock on the door? This is what frustrates me. I don't care if there are time sensitive deliveries and as mentioned above the UPS truck came at 1 PM EST and left... I didn't mind that at all. I understand they have time sensitive stuff to do.

I just can't stand for false delivery attempt. No note. No knock. And false reassurances. Be honest.

Also what is unusual is that 100% of my deliveries as I have set on UPS MyChoice are set to go to the UPS Store for drop off so I can pick it up... This time that did not happen. Very unusual. I thought maybe it's because its an Apple iPhone they aren't doing that? I don't know...

I was able to have mine held at a CC for pickup. So should be able to be held at the UPS Store. I do know my request wouldn’t go through until a bit after the import scan so maybe that has something to do with your MyChoice settings not working.

I’m in the same boat. My phone has an arrival scan at a UPS facility but nothing from there :( case open with apple already.

I did the request 3 times it never showed on tracking until Friday morning when all the other tracking with the customs scans came up then i could see my 3 request. So i think it has something to do with that as to why your preset request didn’t work.

I've found the quality of service varies drastically by local office. For 5 years, I lived both in Nashville and Lexington KY. Lexington = zero problems ever. Nashville = 85% chance they would not execute My Choice instructions for holds, delivery location, etc and local office would be no help when I'd call them. Then lived for a year between Philly and Brooklyn. Brooklyn = zero issues, Philly 50% errors. My interpretation is that whoever manages local offices has a big impact on the quality of service. I may be wrong but that was my experience.

Yep. It arrived from KY to Miami, then locally transferred to another facility and nothing further from 11pm Thursday night. Sucks.

I only had to request once, I wasn't even worried about it since I know that during the pre-order and all that, UPS tends to hide the other info until after the import scan even though it's there.

I never had issues at my location. Only time is that they had the package but wasn't scanned it for ready for pick up even though it was on the rack for customer pick up but other than that I never had any issues.

I opened a claim with Apple. There is a four day wait before they will replace the lost package. After that I suppose I have to wait a new shipment time.

Then I suppose if the first shipment magically shows up I'll have to go through shipping it back to Apple.

That's interesting. Mine never showed up on the MyChoice Manage tab on the UPS phone application. I can track the package on there though... How did yours get integrated into your MyChoice account? Does UPS automatically do this once the package address matches your account address?

I have my delivery address added to my UPS account so anytime I order something and address matches, it just shows up on UPS My Choice and on my UPS App.

Same here... fast charged and wireless charged (which people claim will be harsh on batteries due to heat generation) and my 11 Pro only dropped to 95% after a year of HEAVY use. I think just charging however you want is the best way to go. Battery wear is a part of the game, and charging on a 5W brick to save 1-2% of your battery life just isn't worth it, to me at least.

Yeah, I’m long past worrying about battery life. I remember the raging debates on here about proper battery care. 😃
