Regardless, it will say Preparing to Ship on Apple until it clears customs in Louisville. That's when it will flip to Shipped status.
I have received no emails with a UPS tracking number or any shipping info. However, my shipping info just appeared in the UPS app. My phone left ShangHai on Saturday and is now sitting in Louisville. 😀
I have a sneaking suspicion that UPS is going to take their sweet time on arrival scans for those phones that left AK at 12:24 AM, flying on a UPS ghost plane that goes around the world for 2 days before landing 😆
Of course. What is there to update with a scan if nothing has changed?
Ah, thanks. Do you (or anyone) know if I wait for it to show up on UPS and then request a CC hold if that will be too late? First time in 10 years of pre-ordering that I will have to do this. Just trying to figure out how to actually get the phone Friday.
I just called my brother-in-law who lives near ZhengZhou to get down to CGO airport and see what the holdup is for us 9:20 folks.
I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't care less about the Apple Silicon event lol, unless there's "one more thing"

Emailing UPS to hold at my CC worked for me. Confirmed it will be available Friday morning for pickup when the open at 9:45.
Tim Cook just said Pro Max and Mini start shipping this Friday in his product recap. Guess he’s not aware of this thread. 
I entered my phone number and zip, etc., like every other year, so I assumed UPS would be able to do the same and see the unmasked number, but she said nothing was coming up at all. 😒 I don’t see HOW, but whatever. I’ll keep checking on my own! 🙂
If you have UPS My Choice, you can request a change for a hold for pick up. I think at this point with the new UPS update, there isn't a UPS CC hold for pickup request, only UPS Stores or other access points. What you can do is contact UPS and request a change over the phone to be held at UPS CC.
When they move the package lol. Mine, like many others still show that. It means its still sitting there waiting to move.

I do have it, but none of my deliveries are showing up as incoming. I contacted UPS on Twitter and they said there's no way to manually add them. I told them I am just trying to set up a hold, and they said I need the tracking number from the shipper to be able to do so. I also tried calling UPS but can't get to a person without providing a tracking number in full. Someone else suggested a different UPS number to call to get the full tracking number from them, which I guess I will try if I can't get it any other way.
