Tracking down if the plane contains the iPhone pallets. Let’s see if I get a response. We’re not playing games around here. Straight Up 👀

Don’t know what happened, but finally got the tracking # to show up under MyChoice.

Looks like last activity shows me departing Anchorage, AK at 12:24am on 11/10.
You're in good company. A bunch of us from the original #920Gang are traveling right beside you. There's another batch of the #920Gang a day behind us (but by now, likely sitting beside us in Louisville awaiting customs), and a third batch of the #920Gang, now known as #TeamHurryUpAndWait (Team Leader @Theyayarealivin), that will ABSOLUTELY be leaving ZZ soon and will catch up to us in Louisville tomorrow.

There, now you're all caught up!! :)

Hot damn girl! You seriously aren't playing around! I'll remember you the next time I need an ear within UPS or Apple.

Can we have someone with your level of dedication in charge of ballot counting in 2024? ?

A good summary of the #920Gang, I am in the first batch that made the Anchorage stop and on to Louisville waiting to show after customs scan.

Not to be mean, I know so many on here are supportive, repeating the same info over and over, but really if you just jumped on here can you look back through just a few pages, not the whole thread, I know it’s long. Because it’s been repeated a million times that everyone’s status from Apple is preparing to ship. Apple won’t change that until your phone’s been scanned through customs in Louisville. Check your real status by getting a UPS My Choice account (free), choose track by reference, and enter your order # minus the last digit. Leave all the other fields blank. That should give you all the detailed tracking info.
That only worked after I put in my entire order number. However, it's not very detailed. Only says it will be delivered by Friday, so will probably see more details after it's been scanned in Louisville. ?

Import scan needs to happen tomorrow in Kentucky though. Also, it’s a good roughly 8 hour flight from CGO (China) to ( Alaska) PANC - then - additional 7 hour flight from PANC to Kentucky.
Yeah, tomorrow for sure but even around midnight is enough time in most cases...even to west coast. If it's in KY by midnight tomorrow that's 9pm PST. Import scan was quick for me, just over an hour last month. That's plenty of time to get just about anywhere in the US in time for delivery Friday. At work we've been importing lots of gear from Shenzhen and Hong Kong lately, UPS has been very consistent.

In other words - we're still all good. :)

Confident we will get scans in the morning, then on a truck for mine by 5PM for the ride to Chicago.

It has changed so much. It doesn’t look the same. It’s very modernized now. View attachment 1659786

Along with that the new Raiders Stadium.
I love it out there (I am NOT a fan of the Winters, cold anymore in Philly, NE) Almost moved there in 2001.

It is absolutely mind blowing how it looks nothing like it did when I first visited Dec 96, Jan 97. I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton, you can almost see the exact room in the pic above. lol. Now there's a massive ferris wheel there, zip lining?? So cool.

My good friend still lives out there and need to visit her soon, would love to take a SLEW of new photos also!

Old shaky footage from 96/97..the days of bulky VHS-C Handycam's ?

That’s awesome. Las Vegas is a very special place. People in here still don‘t sleep. It’s still operating 27/7. Thank you for sharing rare photos.

I used to do that, but the last couple of years, iCloud has sync’d over everything for me (except Photos: I do a manual iTunes sync for that). I’ve gotten to the point where I feel that a fresh install doesn’t do much of anything for me unless I have a noticeable problem. YMMV

I still do it because I have an Authenticator app and restoring from an encrypted local backup is the only way to transfer your tokens over from device to device.

I highly recommend using OTP Auth for authentication. You can sync across devices via iCloud. It is a great app and much better than Authy or Google, which I refuse to have anything to do with.

come to think about it apple only release the iphone on actual date is a bad planing & waste of resources. Example this coming fri13 they release Pro Max and if MAX already store inside the warehouse just waiting for time as apple say so. DHL, Fadex, UPS...etc will require to have a extreme lot of man power (or even outsource for this particular day) just to deliver 1 phone to a particular area. Then they might have to come back to this same area if another person order got a later date.

Apple should have release when phone early arrive. Singapore don’t have tracking number. It stated singapore - Singapore when I got my 12pro. I remember that fri, the DHL guy send my phone at 11.35pm. I was surprise he given me a call asking if he can still deliver the phone to me. When he here, I pass him my next day breakfast and 2 packet of cold drink. We never talk, he seems to miss his dinner then.
