10:29 AM Import Scan! Woo! Now I get to track flights from SDF -> ABQ then ABQ -> ELP. I already know they'll get it here as close to the last minute tomorrow morning, as each year the flight from ABQ to ELP is an early morning one. Now I must take a series of short naps. ?

Late 9PM crew expect to see arrival to KY within 2-3 hours. After that pallets will be sorted and will receive import scan right away.

We are definitely in HIGH PRIORITY.

I use to work for UPS. Almost all packages being delivered via UPS from Apple generally require a signature. But you can pre-sign for it!

IF it's an option / Apple requests a signature.

With the Pandemic we are in I can safely tell you it's really up to your driver. A few got "sorry we missed you" notices and others had their package left with not even so much as a knock. One guy got his iPhone shipped accidentally to his old apartment in NY and they just left it there. Luckily a friend of his picked it up and shipped it to him.

So yeah... luck of the draw, really.

Mine shows the same at ups.com. but shows picking up at UPS location in the app.

In the app, it still shows my address in the destination, but underneath it says “requested change: Pick up my package at a UPS location”. But it still says 11/13 even though a couple days ago it said 11/16 when I mistakenly made the request. This is weird.

Should happen pretty quick! I had the same stats as you all the way through departure from Anchorage. I didn’t get an arrival scan in KY but did get an Import Scan.

I have a mini and a pro max on the way, and only the pro max says "shipment delayed." UPS tracking still shows both of them arriving tomorrow (import scans this morning at 7:38 and 7:44)...Anyone else seeing this, or know if it'll actually arrive tomorrow?

Actually, that's not funny anymore, its sad. Your precious orders are coming on Friday for 99.9999999 percent of us. If people would get a grip, then their web site wouldn't get pounded like this for people who legitimately have to order something from Apple and can't.

Do you really think the FEW of us on Macrumors compared to the millions of orders out there are bringing down the system?

Apple does this consistently with their launch day products. It was the same for the MBP, the same for iPads, iMacs, etc. It will be same when the M1 MBA/MBP ships.

Put the energy into sending an email to Tim Cook and UPS about their systems being unable to handle what they already know happens EVERY single launch. All of these orders from around the world as well as their store inventories have to be updated now.

Anyway, hopefully you’ll be able to place your order soon.
