What is the app that you can use to find towers? I’ve always been curious as to where local towers are.
Here is main page apps and links. https://www.wilsonamplifiers.com/blog/finding-cell-tower-locations-the-complete-guide/

For finding towers in your area, Cellmapper.net probably provides the best and up-to-date information. It's useable but not user-friendly design takes some time to navigate. But once you do, it provides cell site locations for all major carriers.
Pro Tip: First, type in ‘310’ if you have AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint, and select which one you wish to find a tower for. If you have Verizon, type ‘311’ and select it. This coupled with your zip code or address should show the towers in your area immediately

But there is a wealth of information on this main page

Question: iPhone 12 Pro (apple.com) orders - are delivery/ship estimates accurate?

I finally caved and placed an order for a gold iPhone 12 Pro 128gb (t-mobile version) on apple.com. It shows delivers: DEC 9 - DEC 16th.

Does anyone have experience with recent orders? I was hoping that it would ship sooner. In the past, I would just buy it at the Apple Store and use their inventory checker to check which Apple store near me had it. However, none in the state have it and T-mobile is saying late DEC - to early JAN.

Thanks in advance!

Also check best buy or your local store. They may have it in stock

So seeing these 5 g Speedtest’s got me wondering what we have around my area.
I was down by the perimeter mall area of Atlanta, and figured I should see some good speed there. My first test was pretty nice-194 mbs. I walked down a block by some high rise office buildings and got what you see in the picture.

The inventory checker isn’t that great. Check the Apple Store app around 5-6AM local time to see what inventory pops up so you can snatch one for pickup.

Well final test for my AT&T 12 ProMax. 4 bars at my daughters across the twin cities and got nice speeds. Not going to match Verizon ultra but doubt that it will even be our neighborhood or much of residential Champaign-Urbana anyway.
Top 4 are with all 4 bars. The 4 below are with 3 bars near downtown Urbana.

I love my 12PM BUT if it weren’t for wife needing my ok’d 11PM AND for squared edges I’d probably not have upgraded. I always have to have latest and do love the phone... just isn’t drastic upgrade over 11PM. This blue though

Oh yeah, those are awesome! I’m seriously starting to think my local cell towers are drunk! 🤦🏼‍♀️

No, not yet. I would charge my old phone sometimes with my 12W brick used on my 1st gen iPad Pro and never had a problem.

After unboxing the 12 PM, updating to 14.2 and charging to fill 100%, it was warm, not not. But I think that was normal after the update, phone was indexing.

So I caved and ordered a leather case. I love this phone naked, but I’m super paranoid about damaging it lol

screen protector is where I draw the line though 🙅‍♂️
Same, I do love the feeling of the leather case. But this year the case lip seems more pronounced and I don't like the way the screen seem very sunken inside the case. A screen protector would solve that but I'm reluctant to the idea.

How many bars do you have yours looks like the weak and fluctuating signal other night in rain and wind on my marginal edge area to the AT&T towers I am between. I saw some fluctuation then that looks like this but never got over 50 on good fluctuations. But where am am 3 or 4 bars elsewhere i get 120 to 160 Mbs not huge but better than my old LTE that was around 75-80 with 4 bars in town

No but if you want WiFi, cable and internet, you have to have Xfinity installed in your unit. Xfinity is like night and day compared to Fios. When we move we’re switching back to Fios.
I get 300-500 Mbs with Xfinity. I love the WiFi speed. I hardly ever use AT&T data and don’t need 5G really during Covid. Not going anywhere.

Coming from an iPhone X on iOS 13 I have no idea how to turn on the flash for videos on my 12 pro max. Somebody help lol.
When in video mode, in the corner of the screen you’ll see a little circled lightning bolt with a line through it. This means the light is disabled. Touch it and the line through the lightning bolt disappears meaning the light is enabled. When you start the video, the light will come on.

This phone pro max and 14.2 are amazing, the feel, the power, the camera. I have the clear MagSafe case and the MagSafe charger, such a great design, great integration. That’s all for now, looking forward to 11 to 12 months with this phone before the upgrade program delivers the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
