So seeing these 5 g Speedtestā€™s got me wondering what we have around my area.
I was down by the perimeter mall area of Atlanta, and figured I should see some good speed there. My first test was pretty nice-194 mbs. I walked down a block by some high rise office buildings and got what you see in the picture. View attachment 1668480
That is insane.
I got a slightly better 5G connection inside a Home Depot earlier today.
Far better than the sad 5G coverage in my house this morning šŸ˜†

My daughter convinced me to try PopSockets. I love them on big iphones. Used them on my XS Max and now on the Pro Max. Makes the big phone so much easier to handle plus I like how you can prop it up in landscape mode to watch a video
I always use popsockets on my phones - so much easier to handle the device and gives me a peace of mind of me accidentally dropping it or something lol

I have been always a fan of spigen....but the clear cases have always turned yellow after a few months.

This time i have ordered ringke fusion matte clear case for my 12 Pro Max....hopefully this one turns out to be better.

This is what I didn't like about Spigen cases as well. Bought a case for the 11PM and it started to yellow almost immediately. Bought one this year because reviews seem to praise them, but again, the clear case already had pale yellow cast to it. No more for me. I adore Spigen's screen protectors, but I can pass on their clear cases.

Like you, I ordered the Ringke Fusion Matte Clear. Seems to be popular because I won't have it until next week due to stock.

I instantly smiled when I saw the gif! Iā€™m a diehard fan, what can I say? ā˜ŗļø
Two years ago (I think) when they showed the Titanic with a live orchestra I dropped $100 to go see it. Over 10 years ago when they played it in 3D you bet I saw it in that format. When it originally came out in theaters I must have seen it 7 times.

So uh, yeah... Iā€™m definitely a fellow fan ā™„ļø

We got to see where the Titanic ship was made in Belfast. So cool. I bought lots of souvenirs. Our guideā€™s uncle died on the ship and she wrote a book about it.
Omg that is awesome!!! I need to make a bucket list of all the Titanic related places I can go visit. I know thereā€™s a museum in Tennessee thatā€™s really good too! I love everything about Titanic - movie and ship. And to get to see where she was built must have been surreal!

I am always happy to meet a fellow Titanic fan ā¤ļø Especially since Iā€™ve been made fun of my passion for Titanic all through middle and high school but I didnā€™t care! Titanic is still my favorite to this day! Iā€™d see it in theaters every time theyā€™re willing to rerelease it. And I definitely want to watch Titanic with a live orchestra! ā¤ļø

I love the Ringke cases. My Spigen Liquid Crystal case come tomorrow so Iā€™ll be able to test that out and see how quickly it start to yellow. Iā€™m into thin cases now because with the bulky cases, the Pro Max series is too heavy for me, especially at night when Iā€™m reading in bed. I love the Totallee case (I have it on my XS Max), due to it hasnā€™t turned yellow in the 6 months that Iā€™ve owned the case, but I donā€™t want to pay $39 for it. At some point Iā€™m going to bite the bullet and pay the $39 for the Totallee case.

I get 300-500 Mbs with Xfinity. I love the WiFi speed. I hardly ever use AT&T data and donā€™t need 5G really during Covid. Not going anywhere.

Xfinity where we live sucks. Iā€™ve hated it for the 2 years that weā€™ve had it. If Fios launches before we move, Iā€™m switching providers.

Iā€™m a total Titanic geek! I saw it in the theatre line 10 times and who knows how many times since!

Definitely glad I upgraded. From XS Max to 12 Pro Max. Itā€™s the bees šŸ knees
I initially wasnā€™t going to because I had just got the 11 Pro Max back in April of this year ... but when I saw the blue, I just HAD to get it. This was the phone I was initially going to upgrade to from my Note 9 but I was impatient so I jumped back to Apple a bit too early lol but all is well! Iā€™m going to sell my 11 Pro Max soon to make up for it

I can understand this. The Titanic is a fascinating part of history. Although the movie itself is just a well told fiction story... it didnā€™t take away from how well it was made. I can recite almost the entire thing.

I was obsessed with the soundtrack... Iā€™d draw to it for hours in HS.... so much that I knew what part of the movie was on by just listening to the soundtrack alone.

I wish I had see. the exhibition when we stayed at the Luxor in Vegas some of years back. My husband doesnā€™t share my enthusiasm for it so we didnā€™t get to see it. Next time!

Heck I want to go to both Tennessee and Belfast now!

Right there with you.

The live orchestra was phenomenal. Wish I could experience it again. I sat next to a lady who had just turned 95! She gave me and another young(er) girl her key to a long and happy life.... she said ā€œnever stop moving and donā€™t take medicationā€. She was awesome.

Well, in the spirit of keeping in line with the iPhone topic... my ā€œ5G connectionā€ sucks at home.

I also really want to change my screen protector from the iCarez to the Spigen one. This screen protector sure is a finger print magnet and I noticed it a lot today while I was outdoors.

We went to a beautiful wedding today where we saw a white Tiger (the venue happened to be at a Wildlife center) and this was (sadly) the best shot I got.

My mom was obsessed with that Celine Dion song at that time and it would always be playing at home whenever I got home from school.

Then a couple of years later she decided to start blasting Ricky Martin. I was so embarrassed šŸ˜ž

Finally got out to test the night mode. Not the most exciting spot...parking lot of a muffler shop, LOL, but it's late.

I was messing around with a super long exposure app called "Moment" (this created the moving light trails) - lot of manual controls over taking pics. Never really used on my older phones because I just wasn't happy with the results...until now!

Thanks for the tip on the app. These just seem way more spot on than the native app. Curious - are you finding a good amount of lens flare in night shooting?

A little lens flare in some of the photos, strange mirrored reflections in a few of the pics I took, especially when I use the wide angle. Nothing like my previous phones though.

I kinda know what you mean by mirror reflections! Thatā€™s primarily my issue as in certain areas, itā€™s was bad - what I like to call alien invasion bad (Iā€™ve posted it elsewhere, but hereā€™s my example)

No one sings My Heart Will Go On like Disembaudio from Rifftrax. You can hunt me down and kill me later.
