Nice. I just saw that Xfinity is offering gigabit speed in my area. Debating getting it. I wish I could trust them not to charge the nickel and dime fees for everything outside the service.

I’m going to negotiate a cheaper price. I can’t keep paying $195 a month for service that isn’t all that. I really wish Fios was available in my complex. My old complex a mile away had Fios.

Speaking of, Apple store near me is now temp closed again as of tomorrow for who knows how long.

Now that was lucky for you, but sad if you want anything else.

I’ve stopped by the Apple store a couple of times now to pick up a case and then a second HomePod Mini today. People are so upset that you need an appointment for everything now. Our stores are only doing Express Pickup, so you stand in line and walk up to the window at you appointment time. Can’t even come early to pick up.

People have tried to “quickly pick up a charger” or ask a question, but security is not having it. Everything is by appointment only. One poor woman had an broken screen and she has to go back home, make the Genius Bar appointment and come back.

We’re not far from shutting down again with to the way things are looking her as well.

My offer is $130 for Gigibit internet, 200+ channels, and voice for 24 months. Fios hasn’t made it to our area yet, so nothing to miss on that side for us.

Aww I wish that I could but I’m an avid runner and I can barely fit the phone into my running pants pocket as it is. There’s no way the PM would fit.
Would be nice to have a better battery and the best of the best camera!

enjoy it for me 😊
♥️

You need the Apple Watch in your life. Recommend the Nike version and get the GPS+Cellular version. That’s what I have. You don’t have to worry about having your phone with you.

This Spigen Liquid Crystal is not thin enough for me. I need something as thin as the Totallee clear case. I have a Pink Citrus silicon case that I have yet to open. I prefer clear so I can show off the color of my phone. I’m going to try the silicon case out tonight and make a decision wether I want to keep it. I will be ordering a Caudabe case tonight and see how it is.
Well the clear is totally different then their other models. The clear is hard and slippery and not as thin! If ur just looking for clear thin then don’t get the Caudabe one... I would say just get a skin. I ordered from xtremeskins the clear ones.. can’t wait to try them.

Yea, our store is also express pick up only but with this cases going up and our government our State just imposed a ban on all indoor gatherings effective 11/18/2020 at 12:01 am to 12/16/2020. Nothing we can do about it tbh. I've never had issues with going early, they don't ask the time, they just ask if you have a pick up and a QR code up and ready.

I keep telling myself that I need to buy one. Then I tell myself to wait for the next generation. lol
Just go for it. I had the SS for Series 3 and 4. Decided to jump on the Nike version for Series 6. Having cellular made more sense this time since I’m way more active outside then before.

Yep. Have one that I ditched for Garmin. But I don't pay for the extra cellular service line anyway and my husband (and people that care about me) don't want me running without a phone. (In my neighborhood I don't blame them).

Man, I recently rebooted my old Series 3 Nike Watch (with cellular that I never hooked up due to my refusal to change my Verizon plan back when it really mattered to me to stay grandfathered into my old plan) and I started to update/pair the phone but became torn so I stopped it.

My husband even bought me a new charger (since he lost the old one) and some new bands. I'm only reluctant because my Garmin is only a little over a year old and a far better running watch.... but with the new MBP and the shiny new iPhone I just got it makes me want to go all the way Apple. Especially since the Garmin continually disconnects and I miss half of my notifications on my 12 Pro. It was never this bad on my iPhone X.

Maybe... just maybe I'll switch and only use the Garmin on runs.

Anyway, I found a scruff in 3 places on my Pro 12 and I blame the clear MagSafe case. I've only ever used this case on the phone and I've never taken the phone anywhere "naked" so I'm pretty bummed. It's not on the band itself but more like on the edge of the band. I'm seriously disheartened by it. (What is wrong with ME? LOL -maybe don't answer that)

Also, the M1 MBP delivery window is about to close at 3 p.m. so I'm sure it'll soon be updated by UPS to read "BY 9:00 P.M." I knew an early window like 11:00 - 3:00 was too good to be true. UPS doesn't like me THAT MUCH.

My husband almost went out to lunch. I was appalled but he wound up changing his mind.

You could always wear the Nike Watch on your other wrist while running. I think I saw a third-party strap you could use to wear the Watch in your upper arm.

Garmin is definitely the superior running watch - if you have the versions with all of the stats per mile, heart rate, etc. It just doesn’t have cellular. I would stick with Garmin if I was still running and monitoring my progress the way I used to - a bad car accident messed that up for me.

The M1 Air is available to pickup here. I swear I’m this close to just pulling the trigger. I haven’t spent all year on anything except Apple stuff... and then all the additional items for the Apple stuff. Crazy how that works 😜

These are the cases for you to investigate:

elago is all TPU and thin. I like it is but it felt slightly slippery to me.

Ringke Air - same as the Fusion (which I also like), but does not have the hard back that the Fusion has. Comes in Clear and Glitter. I have the Glitter case on now. I like it so much, I doubled down and ordered 2 more before they sell out or raise the price. You can ignore the strap that comes with it. You don’t have to use it on the case if you don’t want to.

Re: Caudabe case distinctions. The Lucid Clear is thin & hard shell (recommend against - poor button accessibility). The Frost Veil is the extremely thin/barely there case I would definitely recommend.

You might check out the a Peel cases as well. They have 2 clear cases, one soft and one about the thickness of wax paper. I have the soft one, which is almost perfect except the buttons are stiff. My OCD is driving me crazy with the clear cases and getting tiny little particles between the phone and the case that I can see of course.

Sheesh, this needs to end at some point. Hopefully soon rather than later. In my area beginning 11/20-1/1/21, our restrictions are back in place with businesses needing to close, school going back to all virtual limited gatherings, etc. I’m dreading even trying to do my holiday shopping for next week.

As I mentioned I never wanted their TV so I pay just under $80 per month for 100 mbs internet. They always had a $20 or more per month “penalty” because I did not want to pay another nearly $80 on top for TV and so even if I did your change I need to do it with their TV which I do not want, I just do various Apple and other streaming services, and in total pay about $25-30 per month rather than another $80 plus to Xfinity. Never tried to work out deal with internet because there is no other choice in my neighborhood
Understood. Everyone has different circumstances and needs. I live in a multi-generational household, with 5 people ranging from 92 to 18. So we have the full meal deal. We looked into buying things piecemeal but the difference was only about $30 a month and we’d lose the convenience of a centralized experience among many devices which is was easy for everyone to use. Having different services that require changing inputs, apps, logins, devices, etc can be very confusing to people who are not tech savvy. Just my experiences which have worked for our household.
