Ordered here in Canada with a Sept 21st delivery date. Switched over to preparing to ship yesterday. Still nothing in my UPS or using the order number as a reference.

I received a tracking email from apple with tracking info..case to be delivered Wednesday! I ordered it Friday afternoon.

Interesting that the watch package weighs more than the iphone max package?

I just got a shipping notification from Apple saying my case shipped UPS. But the UPS my choice is not showing anything yet. It’s supposed to deliver this Wednesday the 19th. Not too worried I’m sure it will be here.
Did they really say via UPS? It probably shipped FedEx.

I ordered for delivery to SW Ontario with September 21 date. Received UPS tracking yesterday morning.

Anybody else have scans like this?

ZhengZhou, China 09/17/2018 2:10 A.M. Arrival Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/16/2018 11:57 P.M. Departure Scan
China 09/16/2018 6:40 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS
Yep. Looks like several of us have that same scan. No worries, the system always has some funky info.

Yep, that's normal. Same thing as last year. The first departure scan is from the warehouse... The Arrival scan is at the airport. You'll see another Departure scan from ZhengZhou once it leaves.

So what do we think is coming next, a flight ZhengZhou => Anchorage or somewhere else?

Might make sense why they aren't letting me pick the CC near me at all.

What a load of horse crap... just DMing with @UPShelp and got this response:

I hate to ask this but how do you track the flight your phone is on? I've never did it before.

Edit: Also, if your phone requires a signature will it say it on the UPS order right away? My order has just be received by UPS via MyChoice so I don't know if finer details like that come later.

There are 2 possible paths based on last year.
First is it could go to Incheon, South Korea, and then Anchorage from there... A lot of the launch day phones last year took this route.
Second option is it could go directly from ZhengZhou to Anchorage.

What's the difference in having my package held at a UPS store vs Customer Center?

A weekend.

Having it held at a Customer Center keeps the package from being loaded on a truck for delivery to your location.

Having it held at a UPS Store requires UPS to reroute the delivery TO the store that you choose - and that delivery to the store happens on the day it was supposed to be delivered to you. That would add at least one business day, and seeing how this is a Friday delivery, most likely will push availability out to the following Monday.

I'm not seeing any cargo flights ZhengZhou to Incheon, only passenger flights with Korean Air and China Southern. But there are several cargo flights to Anchorage, so maybe that way.

Yep, same story as last year. We could never really find a UPS flight that took it to Incheon, but it made it there. Lol. Kind of strange.
In reviewing last year's thread, there were also some that went ZhengZhou to Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, and then onto Anchorage. The flight from HK to Anchorage was actually on a Cathay Pacific flight.
