Just going to stay home and wait. It's not worth this much hassle to get to deal with an employee at the CC counter who hates her job and everyone who walks into the CC pickup area.
At least most of the guys/gals delivering in their trucks are relatively pleasant folk.

Not going to change to shipped until Wednesday or Thursday. I think after it passes customs in Louisville KY that when it changes.
As is mine, seems that the second batch of phones to show up in UPS tracking were ones going to Hong Kong next. All is well there at airport. They even opened a second runway for extra traffic they are taking from airports that did not do as well in Typhoon. So I expect we will see these leave in next 5-10 hours on their journey to Anchorage ;-)
Yes that just showed up on most major Mac sites a minute ago. Too big a impact on economy that Washington did not want to mess with I guess. Who knows next year?
I was in same boat with you. Ordered T-Mobile 256GB Silver Max and got confirmation at 12:06 AM but got the 9/28-10/5 delivery date. Same thing happened last year with the X and I was hopeful for the same outcome, but considering I should have ordered the SIM-free instead, I ended up finding a SIM-free model for pick-up in the same color and storage size I wanted at a local store for pick-up on launch day and decided to cancel my order instead. I do hope yours is moved up to launch day delivery.
It's tentative due to the status just being the order is ready. Once it's starts moving the tentative should go away.
Thankful it’s UPS this year. My area driver once gave me his cell phone in case I need to reach him for package deliveries. I know who I’m calling Friday.
