I had a similar color on my iPhone 7+... patina was nice, but it got scuffed and, well, that was that.
Cool. The scuffing is inevitable I suppose.

My phone tracking showed up in UPS MY choice today even though my order from Apple still says preparing to ship.
It says it’s coming from Brightstar, liberyville Ky. Is that right? Shouldn’t it be coming from China?
Also if this requires a signature would I say it in UPS already? (It doesn’t say that currently.)
It's a 30 minute drive 1 way to my CC so I'm just going to hope my driver comes early (Usually he comes by 2 PM sometimes earlier if there are Next Day Air Shipments on the truck that are before noon) if I get the option to pick a 2 hour window I'll pay the $5 or whatever so dollars if there is an early window available. If not I just gotta sit and wait. And when I'm waiting for something good from UPS everything driving by sounds like the UPS truck lol. (My UPS truck is the older style with the 7.3l Diesel so a lot of trucks going by sound similar)I may be starting to regret advocating that people pick up their iPhones at the CC: this could get crowded
To be fair, this is a minuscule, and particularly motivated, segment of purchasers, spread over over hundreds of CCs.I may be starting to regret advocating that people pick up their iPhones at the CC: this could get crowded
Brightstar is running Apple’s give back program. This is not your phone. And it’s Libertyville, IL, not KY.My phone tracking showed up in UPS MY choice today even though my order from Apple still says preparing to ship.

When your phone shows up on UPS MyChoice the order number minus the last 2 numbers of it will be in the reference numbers (The last number starting with a W)Oh. Ok! Then it’s the box for my Watch I am trading in. Haha.
FWIW my order just moved to “preparing for shipment” so I. Presume tomorrow I’ll be able to get tracking info via reference. Nothing as of now on UPS.
there is another thread with folks in that window:I feel like I am the only one who got 28th delivery. It’s annoying
Same with mine. No updates or able to use any reference numbers. However, it still shows delivers on 9/21 on Apple. My XS has been preparing for shipment since yesterday, but nothing has shown up yet one UPS.
Yes that's right. Probably slim chance you'll even see anyone else there for this. At least I never have, and have been doing it for a while. And it's all hours of the day. Of course very early would be most likely, before people go to work, or after work, or lunch hour

I would rather just let it go on the truck and let it comes when it comes rather than messing with delivery options and risk delaying it.Mesa, AZ opens at 8:30, I got there right at opening last year and had my phone 40 minutes later. About 25 people in front of me.
Last year was my first year picking up at the UPS CC. I couldn't believe how long the line was for people picking up the X.I may be starting to regret advocating that people pick up their iPhones at the CC: this could get crowded
Kidding is fine and all, just stay up at your Alliance CC and don't make the line longer at Northside, that's all I'm saying.I know: I was just kidding, hence the laugh emojis.
Last year for the X launch the Downtown LA CC had about ~30 people waiting in front of me at the crack of dawn for iPhones and it took them about 45 minutes to get through the line. LA is a different story than most cities, though.
