I used ApplePay on Apple.com and got a call from my credit unions fraud department yesterday right when apple went to charge my debit card. Thank god my bank allowed it to go through and didn't automatically decline it.

Easy way is sign up for UPS MyChoice and it shows packages coming to your address. If not you can track by reference and use the phone number on the order or the order number itself. If you use the order number just don't enter the last 2 numbers.

THAT WORKED! thank you! youre a genius

So I logged into UPS MyChoice. I've searched by my order number minus this last 2 digits, as well as my phone number. I'm not seeing anything. What am I doing wrong?

Last year for the X launch the Downtown LA CC had about ~30 people waiting in front of me at the crack of dawn for iPhones and it took them about 45 minutes to get through the line. LA is a different story than most cities, though.

My CC store in Fresno CA had a line of maybe 6 or 7 people. But I’m sure bigger cities will have more people picking up.

What did they say? Sometimes you need to wait until the shipment is closer to request it.
Just won't show it as a pickup location, even if I type its address to search around when on the choose a location page.

I'll try again once the phone is actually in the US I guess. I've been doing CC pickup for years now so I'm guessing it'll update later

Getting worried, still on "Preparing to Ship." Seems like a lot of people have gotten their tracking numbers already!
Mine still says preparing to ship, but on UPS it’s already showing it’s already on one of the planes. I wouldn’t worry.

When you do your phone number are you adding your country? For example the reference number would be 1 555 555 5555, without spaces.

So you would do country code, area code, and then phone number, again no spaces.

I can hold mine at a UPS store according to UPS.com the store is an early pickup store (Usually by 8:30 AM) but when I go to have it held there it says delivery to the store would be Monday the 24th and not Friday the 21st like it says to my house.

I'm going to try it again once the shipment gets to the US to see if it will let me pick it up Friday morning

If you're using MyChoice, it should automatically find it by your address, if it's there.
