I can hold mine at a UPS store according to UPS.com the store is an early pickup store (Usually by 8:30 AM) but when I go to have it held there it says delivery to the store would be Monday the 24th and not Friday the 21st like it says to my house.

It may just mean that they open early, not that the package will be there on the original delivery day. When a package is changed to a Store, it usually involves re-routing which often changes the delivery date. Hopefully not, just be very sure before you change it. :)

It said that for mine too, and frankly it gives the same initial one day delay for every package I get held (which I do quite often) but never had it delayed once. Once I selected the option for my XS, it reverted back to the 21st - again it doesn’t guarantee that it will be there on the 21st, but personally never had an issue.

Is the UPS store the Customer Center associated with your UPS hub? If not, you might incur a delay in getting your phone.

Do NOT risk doing the store. It will bite you. UPS CC or home/office if you want a guaranteed Friday delivery.

I went on the UPS app and was going to attempt to change my drop-off location to my local UPS Store as I live way out in the sticks.....and it was going to change my delivery date to Monday the 24th.... nope.. Ive never exited out of an app so fast in my life!!! Upsetting because I probably should theoretically be able to get it sooner if it were dropped off there, but no luck. Oh well, let the longest week of the year continue on!!!

There is a CC at the Hub itself this store is fed from the same hub thought it's just up the street from me the hub and CC are about 30 minutes down the interstate. It doesn't give me an option to pick up at an actual UPS CC just a locker or Store

Yes thats the XS Max the XS is the same size as the first X

Anyone know how much the iPhone max package weighs? I got an “exception- date tentative” notice from ups and wondering if it’s the watch or the phone?
Look at the reference numbers on the tracking the one with the W is the order number minus the last 2 numbers compare that to your order numbers and you can see which it is.

Yeah, I'm planning on using my old X case on my XS, but the Xs Max case really doesn't look that much bigger IMO.

Try tracking by reference. Order number - 2 digits or phone number
I ordered by logging in to family member’s account (tied to mine) to order them a phone. I used my primary account phone number to track on ups reference number, though, not their phone number.

To everyone worried about "Date Tentative" it's only because this is a world ease shipment (all packages are bundled as 1 shipment for customs reasons) so until they are cleared through customs it will say that.

Anybody here in AZ do local pickup or know what hub most phones for the valley are likely to end up

The main hub in the valley is on 31 Ave south of Grand... but it was greyed out on both the website and the app... had to contact @UPShelp on twitter... and even then they said it wasn't possible at first.

It depends on where you are... there are multiple CCs around the valley... some reported that Mesa was doing the hold for pickup... but that doesn't really help of you're in Peoria or Surprise. :D

It's whatever Hub corresponds to your area. There is a downtown hub, a Phx one, a West Valley one and then Mesa (which is mine). Pick the one closest to your house to avoid any re-routing.
