Ordered my phone on the evening of 9/14, around 10pm, Xs Max T-Mobile grey 64gb. Estimated 9/28-10/5. Anyone with similar order time get moved to “Preparing to ship” yet?

Mine arrived 3 hours later on 9-17-18. Lots sitting in Hong Kong or scans won’t update til they’re clearing customs at Louisville ;-)

If they require any signature I’m pretty sure they won’t ask you for your name, just a signature.

My XS MAX Space Grey 256GB finally got an Arrival scan in Incheon, CC has been charged, my only worry is that the Apple Store App is still not showing my phone as shipped. Is this the same for everyone?

Yes, this is what’s happening with me. UPS My Choice is showing my phone is in ZhengZhou with a 2:10pm arrival scan but my Apple App still shows “preparing to ship”

It just needs to be an adult at the residence. I get mine shipped to our office and have never had an issue with our receptionist signing.

This is typical. Won't change until the phones are in north america (wednesday or thursday).

Yeah and there is some thought about when it flips to shipped on the Apple Store App. I figured as soon as it left China but folks here say that it could flip as late as Wed/Thurs when it leaves Louisville, KY for home delivery.

I think if you've been charged (as I have) it's all fine. We're in the very early stages of shipping/tracking. Updates will come in waves.

I heard that you put in your current SIM into the phone before you turn it on so you won't get hit with the activation fee. Unless I'm mistaken? This will be a first for me too sim-free.

Apple does this every year. They don’t say it’s shipped until it’s in the continental USA.

Take your Apple Order # and remove the last two digits. Enter that # (with the W) into the UPS Tracking By Reference or you can use the phone number.

For those that ordered cases/accessories. I just got the dreaded "Exception" - A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

I wonder why my Apple leather max folio is coming by FedEx instead of UPS tomorrow?
