To get my mind off my phone not moving from ZZ still, I checked my email from last years X launch. And I received the “Your Shipment is on its way”email from Apple at 3:47am Thursday the day before launch. So if they stay consistent then in a little over 3hrs we’ll start getting those emails.

I got curious and googled it. By going through Anchorage instead of directly to the lower 48, they don’t have to fill the planes with as much fuel allowing them to add more cargo on a flight, thus increasing revenue
Nice!! That super cool!

Phone still sitting in Incheon. But my progress bar has moved up a lot since.

Most likely our phones have left Hong Kong and the next time we see an update it will magically be in Kentucky, or leaving Alaska.

Agreed my 6S sat in China for a long time then about 24hrs before delivery a flurry of updates and it was delivered on launch.

My case sat a day then the UPS trailer was late and then after that they incorrectly sorted it and it said it was delayed. All that and it still made it today on time. UPS is pretty good at fixing their mistakes to avoid delays

A little off topic, but my Apple silicone case and Otterbox Symmetry case for Xs Max both arrived today. My Belkin protector will be here Friday (temporary) to install on day 1, while my Zagg will ship on Monday.
