Now there is all this extra, surprisingly soothing, data showing on my tracking. No changed in anything else but this info might have saved us all roughly 5000 posts
I had the same thing this AM, and now all the exceptions are gone and I still arrived in AK at 11:35AM.
yeah not sure for california it still need to go to Ky or not. if it goes KY then I have doubt how it will reach california tomorrow for delivery. Finger crossed. Getting iphone on a launch day first time in 8 years. I guess launch day is expensive
It will. I'm in the same boat in CA. Don't worry, it will still get to you tomorrow. Ever wonder how you can drop off an overnight package by 5pm and it gets to the east coast by 8am the next day? Same magic.
When you make the request it will tell you before you submit it. So just verify the date and time before you hit ok

They have to notify you that it is ready for pickup. That being said, I pickup often and there’s not been a time when the package wasn’t ready for pickup when my hub opens at 9

Both my watch and my phone had a 4pm departure scan from Louisville. The closest flight I can find is a 4:52pm UPS flight from SDF-RDU; due to land in about 20 mins. Hoping they are onboard and will have an early sort tonight for an early delivery tomorrow!
From years past I can safely say do not rely on your "normal" delivery time for UPS--due to the increase of packages on launch days they add extra trucks and routes. In previous launch years from carriers via FedEx, and UPS via Apple I have sometimes gotten my packages first thing in the morning, or 7pm at night--but not always during my usual drop off time.

Don’t know if available for all areas but on the morning of delivery, UPS will have a “follow my delivery” feature where you can track where your delivery man is.
Yep. Showed preparing for shipment yesterday. Changed to shipped early this morning and saw my credit card was charged last night. Got tracking info around noon today — Phone departed ZhengZhou at 11:00PM 9/20. No updates since. I suppose there is a very slight chance it could be delivered tomorrow, but I’m expecting it monday. Tracking info says their is no estimate for delivery at this time. My order page at Apple.com Says it arrives by the 28th and the “Delivers: “ section that should show the anticipated arrival info is blank. But it links to the proper tracking info.
I’m so worried about my phone! Apple has never delivered a phone to ME before. They’re bound to screw it up! How can anyone trust them??
I’ve been tracking my phone since it first showed up on the reference number tracking at UPS. It stayed in China for so LONG!! Is that normal??? So I got worried after about three hours and tried to call the UPS distribution center in Hong Kong... but I don’t speak Chinese! Apple is screwing us!! How am I supposed to talk to someone about my late phone when the whole country speaks another language???
So now it’s in Alaska. I looked up the weather there and it’s really REALLY cold!! Is my phone okay?? If it stays there more than a few hours should I call?? Someone needs to make sure my phone is warm. If it gets too cold and breaks before it gets here, does AppleCare cover that?? Come ON Apple!! How can you not cover that!?
Holy cow! It’s less than 24 hours until it’s supposed to be here. Has UPS ever delivered something from Alaska to my house in 24 hours?? I’m getting really worried, guys.
My question is this: does anyone have a database of UPS truck license plate numbers? I need to find out what vehicle it’s on so that I can track it once it’s out for delivery. They better not be delivering anything else! I know where the trucks are parked, so I can throw an RFID tag on it if I can figure out which one is scheduled to deliver my phone.
