My tracking says Order Processed: Ready for UPS, was supposed to have a 9/21 delivery. How screwed am I?

As well rescheduled for Monday - Orlando, FL

Also for those asking why Apple has not shipped them over here yet, they are at the mercy of UPS. UPS gives priority to other volume over Apple. They lose more money if a next day or two day air parcel does not make it compared to a pallet of 500 iPhones that just have an estimated date of arrival. Its business..

UPS 99 has been in the air more than an hour and no departure scan from Anchorage yet.

Delivery date moved to Monday from Friday.

Final destination is Mississauga, On.
I may have some bad news for you. Talked to UPS CC manager in Ottawa earlier today. There was a special flight from SDF to YHM today at 6:30 PM that was carrying all the iPhones for eastern Canada. If you weren’t on that flight I wouldn’t get your hopes up for tomorrow.

At this point if your phone is not physically on a flight to Louisville there is no way to be getting it tomorrow. All UPS planes leaving Alaska for Louisville have already departed and it has to be there before around 3 so that the flights can make it to your local areas.

That’s what I’m hoping. How long is that flight from Anchorage to Louisville?

You think that Apple isn’t paying them a good amount of money to guarantee delivery dates for pre orders on a $1000+ phone?

I’d say you’re wrong.

UPS and Apple have a system that’s why they’ve used UPS.. there’s a contract involved.

well, there goes my last hope. Im in toronto, i would think that the phones would fly into pearson rather than hamilton

still have faith in Apple and UPS. Rescheduled delivery for Monday also (Northern California). Crossing fingers it gets sorted out and is some kind of glitch. This will be the first time I’ve actually received a launch day phone so I was pretty excited about it.

Not happy at all. It was 9/21 all day until now.

Yup and you’re correct, apparently they make special accommodations to ensure we get our products on launch day. So we SHOULD get our phones but i don’t know this year, for a s model, it’s been a **** show than last year for my X.

We’ll see I guess. Lots of people impacted.

Did anyone do in store pickup? I have a 10AM pickup window. Do I have to stand in line or is there a separate line for pre orders? First time doing in store pickup, always sat waiting for UPS on launch day for prior phones.
