still have faith in Apple and UPS. Rescheduled delivery for Monday also (Northern California). Crossing fingers it gets sorted out and is some kind of glitch. This will be the first time I’ve actually received a launch day phone so I was pretty excited about it.

You’re in the exact same boat as me. Sacramento.. first time getting launch date iPhone.

I live in KY and UPS now shows delivery date unavailable. It’s clearly a glitch at UPS since my phone has been a hour from me for 2 days. No way it doesn’t get here tomorrow. Lol

My delivery changed to 9/24 as well. Was on flight 99...still hasn’t left AK. Doesn’t matter, I’ll pick it up tomorrow.

Our flight left, its in Canada right now. It will be in Louisville by 12:59 AM

I am on the 2:10 flight as well, but mines is still saying to arrive tomorrow..
I think Everyone should state whether their phone is delayed or not plus saying their location. Maybe its a region thing flying out to the west or something...

I don’t know anything for sure but it may be on a pallet and somehow didn’t get listed on that pallet and is on it’s way. If it’s not listed as on the pallet then It won’t update I suspect until they break it down and it gets an individual scan.

If you'll notice I wasn't having a hissy fit. And I agree it seems to be a system glitch and, if not, I'll survive just fine. I just enjoy being part of the mass revolt. So relaxxxx is correct...but let us have our whine and cheese.

UPS doesn’t fly their own planes domestically in Canada, they contract with cargojet, whose base is in Hamilton (Hamilton also has MUCH lower landing fees than Pearson and fewer restrictions on overnight flights/noise).

that is most likely the plane that will carry the phones to Sacramento area. Still 6 hours until it takes off....plenty of time for 97 and 99 to get in and sorted.

it seems that flight 97 is roughly 20 mins delayed, maybe that triggered a glitch in the matrix and sent all the tracking for our orders into IDK WHEN mode

UPS updated from BY THE END OF DAY to 3PM..

Lucky I ship to my work address and UPS alway show up about 10AM , he was told me my address is start point of his route ....

EDIT: My watch is now in Mather, CA. Weird. Hopefully they both arrive at the same time tomorrow in PHX.

So bizarre... mine, too... they are back en route to PHX... in fact, UPS has TWO flights to PHX from Mather... and another one that goes to Ontario and then to PHX. We'll have them in the morning, I am sure, but it definitely is a puzzler this year.

I’d say you’re wrong.

UPS and Apple have a system that’s why they’ve used UPS.. there’s a contract involved.

There is a contract, yes. But priority goes to the items that are next day or two day, which is about 90% of the volume on planes. I have worked the Apple detail in the past as a police officer at UPS and have worked at UPS directly. We were bumped off numerous flights where I was supposed to go out and follow a pallet or 12 back for processing. I do know how it works.
