I am pre-ordering Xs 256gb and hopefully will be the last upgrade for the next 3-4 cycles. I have an 8 right now with 256gb and I just signed up for IUP. When will I get the option for trade in?

Same here. Will go for 30 month AT&T and hopefully by then foldable future phones are a thing. I could go another year with my 7 Plus, but I have a feeling prices are only going to go up and carrier deals haven't been great since the 7. May as well get one now.

I made a new thread with this info, but it got lost into oblivion, so I’ll paste it here, in case anyone may find it useful!

It's that time of year again! I have gathered together a bunch of useful info for tracking your iPhone order (if you order it through Apple), perhaps the mods can sticky this, as I think people will find it helpful and it may help prevent duplicate question threads.

So, order date is in a few hours, 12:01am Pacific time on the 14th. Delivery date is the 21st.
This same info will work for those of you holding out for the iPhone XR later on!

Once our orders move to processing we should start seeing some movement to 'preparing for shipment' over the weekend.
Once this happens you should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin!

Here are some notes to help track orders:

If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.

Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, log in, and find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new iPhone serial number.

You can look up the week of manufacture and factory here, using the serial number:

or

Links for tracking:

http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/reference?loc=en_US
https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?action=altref&cntry_code=us

Another way to find it, enter your phone number + zip:
https://www.villagedrapes.com/html/tracking.html

If your phone number isn’t working for UPS tracking, use your order number but subtract the last two numbers/letters. Say your order number is: W123456789, you'd put in: W1234567 - make sure to use the tracking by reference feature.

Flight info:
http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS
http://flightaware.com/live/iphone
When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), and you can usually narrow it down

Have fun!!

What are the taxes and fees associated with the iUP? I want to use the gift card I get from trading in my X and I’m trying to determine how much it’ll use from that if I get a Xs Max 64Gb.

I used the Apple Store app last year for 8 Plus, I had no problem at all and the whole thing was about a 40-50 second transaction. POSSIBLE because there was a lower demand for that model. Still the Apple site on my desktop never loaded for me. Hope to have a flawless transaction tonight. I have the app ready on my iPad and iPhone.

I'm looking at the XS Max..so, I don't know. We shall see.

Checking in for my bi-annual order thread! Currently rocking an iPhone 7 Plus (Jet Black), hoping to snag an iPhone Xs Max (Space Gray). Let the painful waiting begin...

Going to be upgrading from an 8 plus to an Xs Max in Gold. Will be trying the app first on my iPhone and iPad as a backup. Also probably ordering the Series 4 Apple Watch

I have a few hours to decide between the Xs and the Xs Max.

I have read the Max is bigger than a Pop Tart and bigger than the Note 9. That's huge.

Quick question, how do I refresh the app after 2:01a.m also, Can I refresh it from the favorites screen? thanks in advance

Can anyone confirm if multiple items on the same order will be dispatched separately in their own individual package? Even if they have the same delivery date?

Eg. Getting a iPhone X’s Gold 64, Xs Max Gold 64, Apple Watch S4 and leather case.
I’ve had 3 AW bands ordered at the same time and on the same order ship individually in separate boxes before; no idea why.

I started a new thread, but maybe this is a better place for this question.

I'm going to pre-order my wife's phone through the Apple website. She is on my family's AT&T shared plan (I am on a work plan). It's been three years since her last upgrade and I don't remember what information is needed. What, if any, account information will I need to buy her phone tomorrow?

You might need her ATT pin

The 30 month isn’t a option yet on the Apple Store. Hopefully they add it during pre-order because that’s what i’ll be using.

You pay the tax on the full price of the phone AND AppleCare. You also make the first month’s payment.

You can’t use any gift card for any part of iUP. If you trade your phone in at an Apple Store they can credit your debit/credit card.
