I prefer to hand it to them in person. Is that possible after you have already received your new phone?
So with you on this. One year the Apple Store gave me a padded envelope to send my phone back to AT&T Next. I was like "Are you kidding me?" and the Apple guy said "Yeah that's what AT&T gave us." I dug out a box for the return. Last year I went into the AT&T store.

Screenshot please!!
Found why it said in Hong Kong. When I put in the tracking number, for some reason it picked Apple Hong Kong as the seller. Now that I manually changed it to just Apple, it says location unknown. Guess I didn't pay enough attention when it was selected in the Deliveries app. My bad, guys. First time using the Deliveries app.

So when you entered the order number or found it on the clipboard deliveries app gives 2-3 options and you must have chose Apple Hongkong :)

First time user of this app here too. You got me excited but that was busted by UPS tracking by reference (not found)

Yea, it showed three options and I didn't realize the I had picked the wrong one. I thought it had done it for me. Not a huge deal but, would have been nice to get a starting point. I can wait un til Monday morning, so I don't have user errors again. :D

Weirdest thing. I got right on launch night, was pre-approved for upgrade. Entered cc information. Forgot to screen shot order time, but it was just a couple minutes after go time. Then I couldn’t confirm if my order went through. Ordered a leather case in the meantime. Then finally got an order email at 12:23, long after my order. Anyone else have about a 20 minute delay in email? I’ve had a launch day phone since iPhone 5. I have 28-5. Bummer! I’m not sure what happened? I’ve been on here for years, now I guess I’m the one hoping for a move in delivery date. Congrats to all those who got the 21. This is new territory for me:). SGmax 512Gb

Aww man! I hope you get moved up. I experienced something very similar: On the 13th, I completed T-Mobile iUP pre-approval & the minute the Apple Store app reopened for me (2:01 AM Central), I managed to submit my 256GB SG Max order & the 21st was listed as the delivery date. I didn’t get a confirmation email, so I checked my orders & it wasn’t listed. To make things more confusing, a little box appeared at the top of the app giving me the option to complete my order. I felt like I had lost my mind, so I tapped the link, but nothing happened. Around 2:05, out of curiosity, I configured the exact same phone & the dates had already slipped to 28-5. I spent the next few minutes checking other configurations. At 2:15, I received my order confirmation. Relieved, but still confused, I proceeded to pass out.

There is a huge typhoon that has been upgraded to the highest level, T10, approaching Hong Kong right now. YIKES!

Anyone’s phone preparing to ship but watch still in progress? I ordered both at the same time, but the watch charge was declined until I updated my payment info again. Haven’t been charged yet either.

You're just flat wrong. I had preapproval with IUP and had order placed no later than 3:05 ET and got 9/28 - 10/5.
I can vouch for that too. I ordered a T-Mobile XS Max 256GB Silver and got my confirmation e-mail at 12:06 AM PST and my date is still stuck at 9/28-10/5! It's so frustrating. I should have canceled the order and got a SIM-free one since I really don't even need the T-Mobile SIM. I already have one in my X. I figured this was going to be the same as last year when I ordered and the T-Mobile version (no SIM-free ones last year at launch) and was quoted a couple of weeks out even though I was minutes out after it opened and I ended up getting my X on launch day. Hoping for the same again this year.

A T-10 though! Wow, I hope they will be okay! That is scary.

Looks like it's going to miss Hong Kong completely...

you're right, it doesn't show tmobile on mine either. just shows the model
Same with me too! Just the Model, but nothing about T-Mobile.

I ordered XS Max 256 Gold T-Mobile version right when the store opened and have a 9/21 date. Only difference is that I paid full price. Unless Gold just wasn't that popular?
I paid full price for the same model, but Silver and got the 9/28-10/5. I did see the Gold was available for 9/21 after I placed my order. It's weird. I totally thought the Gold would run out first. Kicking myself for not getting the SIM-free since even 45 min after I placed my order, the 256GB Silver XS Max was available for 9/21.

Is there something funny about a T-10 hitting landfall to you? I don’t get your emoji’s.
there is no such thing for 10 I had ever heard of. Going to be a category 1-2 when it hits as it fell apart a lot going over Philipines. However I thought the number you gave was a joke of some kind never heard of such category???? Anyway that was my reason thinking it was a joke of some kind?

Same happened to me. I ordered the Apple Watch first, in which card for declined I ordered the iPhone next. The Apple Watch changed to preparing to ship before the iPhone I think.
