Australia had the same problems

Australia has had the same problems, since the weekend.

The whole refurb site went down, but for some things like network devices.

Then the site came back on one early morning, and so I went to bed. Then in the morning, it was gone again - ie nothing listed.

So I rang Apple, and the guy in Texas that I spoke to, was surprised too.

It came back a few hours ago.

But for me it was good news. I decided to try the resellers. And I found one who had bought all a lot of Mac Pros, including models the refurb site had not listed. And its price was cheaper than the USA's refurb site. So I bought one of those.

Gave up on the iMac. I am happy with the Mac Pro, as its upgradable (via turning the CPU into a 6 core if one wants).

Which is what I get. I would suggest cleaning your browser cache for those that can't see it.

It's been cleared already, that's not the problem. I wonder if it's an IP or DNS based problem.

Or maybe I will try logging into the store with my apple ID first and try again.

----------

OK I just went back and it was still down.

I went over the the right of the page went to Account>account homepage

Clicked on view order history. Entered my ID and password. Click back on the refurb store and everything is now listed.

See if logging in helps anyone else.

Yep, just looked and everything is gone......never seen that before. Wonder what it means. I can't imagine they are out of everything or that they are upgrading it with ML......in the past they just let you upgrade it yourself with a free copy.

Logging in worked for me, too. It was showing as completely empty all day yesterday and today from multiple computers/devices. Just logged in and everything's back.

No it doesn't happen all the time. I've never sen this before and I regularly peruse the categories on Apple refurb pages. I'm tending to think it's a glitch. cause nothing was very different went it came back up last night, with instock listings.

there have been at least a couple of threads about this in the last couple of days, but every time I've looked there's been plenty of stock in the US refurb store......even when I click on somebody's "see! no refurbs" link, there's been stock.

Extremely odd . . . it was not working for me until just now. I clicked on one of the top level items even though everything was grey (Refurbished iPods) and then it came up with a (nearly) full selection. Then selected refurbished mac category, and same thing.

Completely OOS for me (US Store).

EDIT - BTW, there are three featured products listed at the top of the page, but when I click on any of them, they show the product page with price but say Out Of Stock
