Question about the X - for those of us with Apple Care, will our phones get replaced with an XS in a year?
Apple is still replacing iPhone 6 like for like.
So the answer would be, no.

How will everyone that sees me holding my new XSMax know it's the most expensive phone you can buy?
They have to know. They just HAVE TO!
This is the first year I have been on the Apple upgrade program so not a clue how I get my hands on the XSMAX!![]()
I miss the presentation; does the new Xs and Xr have:
1. 5G LTE radios inside it?
2 Come unlocked?
Isn't it only the Xr that doesn't have 3D touch??
What a garbage event. So much BS corporate talk, nothing new. Crazy prices.
And don't start me on all those creepy people on stage. Incredible.
I think you're right about that. However, that still leaves me wondering how that will impact apps that were developed with 3D touch and if this isn't a sign that Apple is planning to get rid of 3D touch in all future products.

If there were a good market for a small iPhone Apple would make one. The same goes for all the dozens/hundreds of Android manufacturers who also don’t sell small phones.IIRC it's around 8% market share for a phone with several generation old internals.
That's a pretty decent estimate that there's a good market for it.
Does anyone have the monthly break downs for what the iPhone Xs and Xs Max will be through Apple Upgrade program?
Most apps were designed without 3D Touch in mind. And there's still a huge chunk of iPhone 6 users.
We don’t know for sure but the XR is also said to have 3GB RAM vs. 4GB for XSXR has LCD XS has OLED
XR has single camera XS has dual camera
XR is 6.1" XS is 5.8"
XR largest storage is128256GB XS is 512GB
XR is aluminum XS is stainless steel
They both have A12 chip
It's because he lives in la la land with all of those yes man apple genius' shining rainbows up his ass.
That's great, but my reply wasn't really arguing for only small-screens. Instead, it was pointing out how consumers have a variety of wants. Any one consumer- you for example- with an opinion is not necessarily representative of all consumers. As passionately as you can love bigger-screen iPhones and detest(?) smaller screens, some other consumer could feel just as passionately the other way.
Son, I am disappoint.
The small, cheap iPhone has lost its purpose. You can have an iPhone 7 (excellent device) for $ 449 for christ's sake.
Damn Apple, thanks a bunch! I just got the X and you make it useless. Greed is getting the better of this company.
BTW, why no love for the IMAC???? WTF no one uses old-fashioned computers anymore?
Anyone doing market share on iPhones is purely guessing. My own personal guess is that 8% is way too high. Even 5% is probably way too high. I'd guess 1%.
Apple clearly saw the SE was a niche product that could be satisfied by the XR. If it weren't niche, it'd be back. It may come back at a later time, but obviously not the priority and definitely not with the new phones. They maybe do it in March after all the excitement passes for new models.
The SE 2 or whatever will never have been done at an iPhone event. Too cheap. Too niche.
