I can hold off another year for the iPhone SEX Max - On the other hand (no pun intended) that Apple Watch though...

The iPhone SE 32Gb has been keenly priced in the UK in recent months so people who like them need to start snapping up remaining stocks - they'll surely be around for some time though. £449 for the 7 over as little as £199 for the SE is a bit steep though. Compared at the SE's most recent retail price of £349 it's ok I guess.
I love my SE now even more. Will keep it until it breaks, in particular when looking at the cost of the new XS

Sad to see there's no replacement for the SE. I really don't care about most of the capabilities anymore, but do occasionally need to check an e-mail or something.

I agree, it's left me feeling deflated - kind of repulsed by Apple's greed. I feel sick from it. Not nice.
RIP to the Product RED iPhone 8 as well, so I'm super glad I went on ahead and bought one on Saturday. Now to try to get that $100 price match refund....

I'm just sad that this market segment (which I belong to) is so small. Apple is run as a numbers game, if there was decent money to be made with an SE phone, they would make one.
Happy to not be enticed to give any money to this virtue signaling Orwellian company.
Grrr... Those prices... To buy an 256GB XS I need to pay almost double than what I did for my 6S three years ago.
Cook's mandate is to make money for the apple executives, upper level managers, HQ staff, and shareholders (in that order). Making customers happy is secondary to all of that.
I'm really sad they didn't update the SE. You know there's a lot of people who actually like a small sized smart phone. Most of my co-workers have it and chose it because it was nice and small. That was the deciding factor although the cheaper price didn't hurt either, I'm sure.

But they just built a new plant in India to build the SE? Does this mean they will continue to sell the SE in other markets, or that they new plant will be repurposed to build something else?
