The SE had a good run. A solid phone, 4 inch Form factor and great battery life. Ultimately, I was hoping it would be updated, because there is a demographic that really does appreciate the 4 inch smaller form factor, but it didn’t surprise me either that they decide to discontinue it.

I appreciate the small form factor that better fits in my pants and pockets. Not the small screen. I hope for the day Apple introduces a X with the SE outside dimensions.

Thank You, Mister Cook, for eliminating the only small phone in your line up. The only Phone, that is not a ridiculous phablet.

I had no idea, that You zeroed out customer satisfaction.

And still no new mac mini. Apple just hit rock bottom.

Bozos all over the place.

Steve would have never allowed this.
Kind of a ridiculous statement. The customer base desiring a small iPhone is virtually nonexistent. Steve would have wanted more expensive phones if he could get people to shell out the cash. They are, and Steve’s happy in heaven.

What a garbage event. So much BS corporate talk, nothing new. Crazy prices.
And don't start me on all those creepy people on stage. Incredible.
Yeah, the sales speak was insulting to any educated person. The whole thing came across as very fake and shallow. I kept leaving the room as it was making me feel sick. Very shallow event from very shallow management.

Well, after the disastrous MacPro's of which Ive sent two units back, sticking with my 2013 Late 13inch, this Keynote was just another big disappointment. I still have hopes for a new SE and Macbook Airs later this year, but if there will be no updates to the form factor I love and the MacBook I want, it at least easier to move over to Android completely with both Phone and Laptop.

SE phones are too small and not practical for anything besides getting lost in your pocket/purse. I have small hands and love my 8+. I can see the iPhone XR doing really well. I will most likely get one next year's iteration.

Sorry but I am a little confused..

What's the difference between the XR and the XS? Different camera? The processor is still the same right?

Basically its the camera and display technology. But the XR has a longer battery life than the XS and has a bigger screen. So you can decide for a much cheaper XR with one Camera, better Battery and larger display, or a more expensive XS with a smaller screen, two Cameras and less battery life.

What they should have done is to present a 4.7" bezel-less iPhone at the same size(give or take a few mm) as the 5s/se and a A11 chip as the low priced - small form factor iPhone ,people would buy it like hot cakes.
Then you have 4.7'',5.8'' and 6.5" iPhones ,that would clear the line.

I’m not interested in a giant phone. I’m also not interested in a $1000 phone. To me it just doesn’t make sense to spend so much money on something that is so easily broken or damaged. I want a basic smartphone with a decent camera in a convenient size. I guess if Apple won’t make one then I’ll have to go with a company that does.

I’ll keep my SE until it dies. Good thing iOS 12 will breathe new life into it.

The Xs has the OLED display, dual cameras, and a better quality to the outer hardware and design. It also lacks 3D Touch. It does pack a 6.1 inch display though, so it’s kind of an interesting dynamic.

Sigh..... looks like my SE is my last iPhone.

Apples new lineup is too big, physically and price wise for me.

I was going to buy FinalCut etc this month but I think instead I will be looking at Windows/Linux and alternative software.
I am not sure Apple makes anything I want to buy anymore.

Waited too long to upgrade from my 4S:( I didn't buy the SE because I got strung along by SE2 rumors (probably started by Cook to rope us all into phablets). Luckily Amazon had one and I just ordered a "new" 64GB SE for $349. Love the "classic iPhone" form factor but I'm sure Apple will try to erode the SW infrastructure around the SE to STILL try and squeeze us. Not liking Apple management right now....
