I think I’m going to buy an iPhone SE somewhere right now, I’m sick of apples greed and the new iPhone xr is a joke.

Would be best decision. I consider buying one without unpacking, until my current one breaks...

It is like Porsche saying, sorry folks, no more 911, but you can have one of our SUVs! SUVs are so popular! Hey have you heard of our new pick up truck? You can carry a herd of sheep with it! You can't carry a herd of sheep with a 911 !!!

All of the upset SE fans.

Thank You, Mister Cook, for eliminating the only small phone in your line up. The only Phone, that is not a ridiculous phablet.

I had no idea, that You zeroed out customer satisfaction.

And still no new mac mini. Apple just hit rock bottom.

Bozos all over the place.

Steve would have never allowed this.

Give me a break, I work at a cellphone carrier and we only sell the SE's when they are a promo or really old people that don't want change. We barely sell them and most people are surprised Apple still make (made) phones that small, good riddance.

This is the first year I have been on the Apple upgrade program so not a clue how I get my hands on the XSMAX!
If you launch the Apple Store App, you can go ahead and go through the steps of choosing your phone and submitting your "next year" application. Still have to get up at 12:01 PT if there's a model you have to have. Still "first come first served".

Cook's mandate is to make money for the apple executives, upper level managers, HQ staff, and shareholders (in that order). Making customers happy is secondary to all of that.
If that's true it works for the customers. Apple has about the highest customer satisfaction of any tech company (this is a couple years old but more recent product-specific surveys show similar results: https://9to5mac.com/2016/06/01/american-customer-satisfaction-index-apple/). So apparently Apple's customers are happy, other than the few who complain in online forums.

So it won’t be a year since last release what will happen with the 1 year upgrade programs from apple, att, etc..

You'll have to pay the remaining month. I got that notification when I started the process in the Apple Store App.

What a slap in the face to everyone who wanted an updated SE with better internals. Tim Cook's greed has no bounds.

How many is "everyone"? You, me, and how many more? If the buyer market is not sufficient, no company is going to produce a product that does return a significant profit. You might as well call ALL the phone manufacturers greedy since no one has produced a competitive model at the same size as the SE or smaller.

I have X now and don’t see any reason to upgrade.

XS Max like the Plus have been, is too big for me to use as daily driver in my pocket.

Nice to see 7nm A12 chip and it’s new enhancements but I can wait for the improved 7nm A13 chip in the iPhone 11 next year.

Such absolute and horrible and ridiculous prices for a phone. Prices for the top of the line iPhone Xs Max is close to getting a top model MacBook Pro 13" with touch bar already. What is this world coming to?

A world where a company that makes phones is the most valuable company on the planet. Bigger than energy companies the fuel everything or defense contractors making multi-billion dollar products. Just think about that.

I appreciate the small form factor that better fits in my pants and pockets. Not the small screen. I hope for the day Apple introduces a X with the SE outside dimensions.

So buy yourself some pants with bigger pockets. Apparently they were all the (impending) rage only a few years ago when the collective were still NOT believing Apple would dare make phones with screens bigger than the "perfection" of 4 inches. And then Apple actually embraced what "we" had referred to as "abomination" (sized screens) and ridiculed for the developer misery of fragmentation, etc.

By this point, there should be bargain bins loaded with pants with bigger pockets and those man purses "we" were slinging around in those days too.
