With all the generated visuals and (bad) audio, boring scripts and details, plus the profit from the prices that many consumers will happily pay they could afford doing a remote=fake event every day. Don'y get me wrong, I like some of Apple's products but they are too repetitive - not enough options for me. I might upgrade one of my iPad Pros at home but I really need a smaller device (i.e. the mini) that I can carry everywhere. Was a Keynote necessary just to release a new iPad?
That ended my interest. No Wifi7? Unbelievable.
I will say.... Steve Jobs had a way of doing these Keynotes that Tim just can't do.
Maybe I missed it, but is the Apple Pencil Pro compatible with older iPad models?
If not, are they going to sell that one and the second generation both for $129?? Or will there be a price drop?
The entire iPad lineup is still a mess.
Which explains why most tech doesn’t work in the real universe. That was set in the Apple universe.
It’s also $349.The base iPad honestly is a joke at this point, 2024 and still with the A14 chip?
And I wouldn't be caught dead using my 1 grand plus iPad on there.Yeah, that was a very rosy, idealized image of what BART is like. 😅
No screeching noise, bumps, and garbage all over the floor.
It has a place. There are a lot of people that don't need more than that. Good entry into iPads. The base iPad honestly is a joke at this point, 2024 and still with the A14 chip?
My guess is you’ll be able to get one in a store on May 15 (or soon thereafter).Had a confirmed May 15 deliver. Entered wrong Apple ID during checkout so had to start over. In a blink, delivery is now Jun 7-14. So seems this is a popular one that is selling very fast! oh well, the pencil and keyboard will be here the 15th, then I have to wait 3 more weeks for the fully spec'd out 13" pro to arrive. Looking forward to improvements over the M1 and see what I just got myself into!
YOU CAN’T KEEP SAYING “THIS IS THE BIGGEST UPDATE FOR IPAD EVER” when it’s just an incremental evolution. All credibility is lost. Have it run macOS and you can say such things. What’s the problem with just saying ‘we have made a nice little update to our iPads to make them a bit better’…? That’s what this is. Marketing only goes so far. We’re not stupid.
