Hi, actually the converse is true. If I am spending a lot of money on a product I expect not to be treated in such a manner. You have low expectations for the way you expect to be treated. Not my style. Do you expect to be treated horribly at a 5-star hotel?

Nope. You are proposing a lame "solution" to a problem apple has with allowing customers who stated their business upfront and then being kicked out without having a chance to examine the phone. Do you buy two cars at the dealership and return one?
Not sure why you quoted me. I never said that it was "special" treatment. I just said that it's a First World problem.
If you want to ignore an easy solution, that's up to you. I focus on results, getting things done. Not whining and crying like a petulant child.
You do realise you can purchase an iPhone and return it within 14 days for a full refund? If you bought the 12 Pro Max and it was too big or bulky, just return it, get a refund, and buy the regular 12 Pro. It isn't that hard to understand...
I really wouldn’t make a big deal out of this. Watch YouTube videos, get out the tape measure and try and make an informed decision which one you think you’d prefer. Buy that one and if it feels wrong, buy the other one. I wouldn’t want to be touching anything on display right now and there is a wealth of hands on info out there. Every iPhone I’ve ever bought has been online and without examining it with my bare hands, take a punt.

Lots of people do. There are at least 3 internet only national car dealerships and they are doing massive business. 7 day return privileges. Get with the times.
.... or i could examine both phones for 3 min and be done. not sure why this is such a hard thing to grasp. i don't have time to buy phone, switch sim, return phone, swicth sim to x, get new phone, switch sim... that takes significantly longer. simple is easy. your proposal would put the lives of apple employees in more danger.
