iOS 11 is faster on my iPhone 7 than iOS 10 ever was.
Give it a minute, someone will be along shortly to tell you that you are wrong, and / or possibly blind.
iOS 11 is faster on my iPhone 7 than iOS 10 ever was.
Because if it was a bug fix they would have recognized it as the fix they implented in iOS 11Reading to see what was mentioned to make a call on whether it's something new or something that has been brought up before is not the same as looking into the actual and making a call on what it is, what needs to be done about it or something else of that nature.
How is it faster? Generic descriptions are sufficient. I'm still on 10.3.3 because I don't trust that 11 is "faster", and don't want to gamble that it is or is not.iOS 11 is faster on my iPhone 7 than iOS 10 ever was.
Not necessarily. Not all fixes are listed in the release notes and Apple may not necessarily close out cases on YOUR timetable.Because if it was a bug fix they would have recognized it as the fix they implented in iOS 11

Assuming they reviewed it beyond simply seeing what the stated issue is to see if it's new or if it's known. Different reviews happen at different times. And beyond that even if it was due to a fix of some sort they might keep it open because they might be considering if they could still tweak it or improve it or change it it in some way. So the original staying open doesn't necessarily mean one thing or another in particular.Because if it was a bug fix they would have recognized it as the fix they implented in iOS 11
Well okay, you’re enetitled to your opinion. But apple clearly seems to have induced YOU to upgrade. My rational is I want a bigger iphone with dual lenses. They closed my 3DT stutter and lack of message animation bug feedback instantly after they fixed it.
It’s quite clear to me it’s an intentional slowdown to induce people to get the X because I hate the new home button. I can’t wait to get rid of it.

The fact that they kept it open means they are considering it. If it was a bug fix they would close it as making it faster would reintroduce the bug. However you still can’t guess why Apple has kept it open unless you are in the inside and have knowledge about the process.
The oled display will demolish my current iPhone in quality
has a much better camera
Whatever your opinion is on that particular case it’s still a guess since you can’t “prove” beyond a shadow of a doubt that apple might keep it open for reasons of their choosing, nor can you disprove my theory. The home button delay is only part of the reason I am getting the X. The oled display will demolish my current iPhone in quality and its got no bezels and has a much better camera. That’s my primary reason for getting the X. The display ranks higher than the camera.
I actually hate the fact that it’s a smaller display for me coming from a Plus. I have no problems handling my Plus and I hope Apple come out with a 6.5 inch iPhone with the same size as the iPhone Plus next year to compete with Pixel 2 XL, S8 Plus and Note 8.

Already been addressed that this is not the only possibility. The fact that they kept it open means they are considering it. If it was a bug fix they would close it as making it faster would reintroduce the bug.
It didn't bother me on the Pixel and it won't bother me on the X as I don't look at my phone from the sides. I thought the blue tint on the Pixel based on internet accounts was really bad till I got a look at it in person and I wouldn't even have noticed it if it wasn't pointed out to me. Head on(which is how we use phones) the screen should destroy my 7 Plus in quality and brightness and that's all that matters. Reviewers have noted the screen is brighter than my 7 Plus.Except if you tilt it a few degrees and it takes on the usual OLED blue caste
The photos on the X will be superior than on the 8 because of better aperture. Low light pictures will be better and the OIS on the second lens is exactly what I want because I have missed a ton of shots on my 7mplus using the second lens because of shakiness. Also the iPhone X and 8 have more saturated photos than my 7 Plus and it's a night and day difference.Same as the eight really, save for OIS and a better f stop on the secondary rear camera. Nice, but nothing to shout about.
I have an iPad charger and here's no way it charges slower than my 7 Plus which takes 3 hours for full charge. Also, I read that it charges slowly

Expected in mass production. I returned my 2017 iPad thrice befor I got a perfect unit. One had uneven whites. Another had yellow tint and the last unit had a bright pixel. I have exchanged my iPhone 6 4 times before I got one I liked. And that it may have hair or dust in that camera

People posted about it on the internet, so it must be true for every single owner of that phone.
Hopefully you can still enjoy it though, with it’s necessary delay to get to multitasking and it’s slower “hold and press x” way of removing apps from multitasking (as opposed to just swiping away).
Or maybe you should just get a Note.

If I tilt my 7 Plus to an extreme angle there is colour shift on it as wel.

None of what you stated bothers me even if it's there. I have played with the pixel 2 xl and the blue tint there didn't bother me so the iPhone X most certainly won't. Exchanges are nothing new. Been doing it for years.
There is no delay with multi tasking. The cards appear instantly with an animation. There is no input lag. I can tolerate slower animations which is what the app switcher is on the X.
Oh and did you know swiping on the bottom to go back to previous app is faster than anything you have on the Plus phone.
December 15. The only issues which I have a problem with is the display size and FaceID which some have reported to be as annoying as Samsung iris scanner . I may even have to return it for that. I played with my ancient iPhone 6 keyboard and I keep hitting the wrong buttons. It feels like a toy and it's causing eye strain on the apps. It's like I am free of a headache when I turn to the Plus display after using the 4.7 iPhone. The X has a taller screen and slightly more width so I don't know the effect it will have on my eyes. If FaceID has problems reading through my high power glasses like Samsung iris scanner it's going back as well. Even without glasses you have to swipe it, wait for a quarter of a second to see the home screen. I can unlock any phone with a fps 3 times from the time I take it out of my pocket and look at the screen. TouchID obliterates FaceID in speed. When does your X arrive? I give you an hour at most after that, before you start complaining about the most irrelevant minutiae.

I love the oled display too much to cancel the order.Sounds like an inferior solution. I mean, some have reported it that way. You should probably cancel the order.

I don't look at my phone from the sides. If I do my iPhone 7 also exhibits some colour shifting. I find Samsung's phones to be sharper than the 7 Plus I have so this pen tile will not bother me the slightest.I can only hope you’re not too upset with the blue tint or pentile pixel arrangement then. You won’t be, will you?

As reviewers have state using faceid obliterates touchid in speed, even though it takes a fraction longer to get into the phone.December 15. I do own oled devices and none of them have any burn in though the years. This is just a warning given that if it happens it won't be covered by warranty. I have no doubt that if a mid range tablet with an inferior oled didn't get burn in, the iPhone X most certainly won't.I’m sure you’ll be good with “minor screen burn in” too, and won’t complain about it later

Who said that? Ars Technica didn't and I consider them the most neutral reviewer without any bias. And again my phone is already on the home screen by the time FaceID even reads my face. It obliterates FaceID in speed. As reviewers have state using faceid obliterates touchid in speed, even though it takes a fraction longer to get into the phone.

Not to mention I upgrade my phones yearly so burn in is t something I even consider. And lastly, Apple is switching to oleds on all iphones next year so hopefully that blue tint and pen tile and the burn in won't bother you too. Good luck!
Yes. As long as the phone destroys my iPhone in display quality I am satisfied. When I look at a Galaxy phone I get that "Wow' feeling which I am hoping to get on the XSo you won’t be complaining about burn in, or blue shift, or pentile, each inevitable properties of OLED? Awesome. I look forward to you not complaining about these any time in the next year.
Everybody has a bias, it's just that some have a bias you agree with and some have a bias you don't agree with. However, I tend to believe what I've read as nobody would really exaggerate statements like that.I do own oled devices and none of them have any burn in though the years.
