There is one bit of good news from the press release/spokesperson thing:
“The change to Apple Music is due to an increase in licensing costs, and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music.”
Apple Music already pays artists more per stream than Spotify, so if this puts them even further ahead I don’t think it’s terrible.

They probably should've kept the Apple One package the same and just raised the other stuff. It would've steered more people towards Apple One potentially. Then again, I'm just some schmuck on a website. I assume they have very smart people who calculated this was the right move.

I’d like more details please. Like what the actual new prices are.
Is Apple 1 going up two dollars to $21.99? Is it going up four dollars since both Apple Music and Apple TV are going up two dollars, so will it be $23.99?
Details, details!
