Spotify is still $9.99.
Spotify is still one of the worst for actually paying their artists, Spotify still hasn’t released the lossless tier they promised To release… back in 2021, Spotify still hasn’t implemented airplay 2 Support despite promising that three years ago, Spotify still hasn’t implemented HomePod support despite demanding it three years ago, Spotify still hasn’t implemented Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio support, Spotify still doesn’t have a good way of organizing a library of combined streamed and personally added/on device music, and most importantly, Spotify already has been increasing prices internationally, and has already raise the price of their family plan, so it’s a matter of time before that trickles down to everyone.

Comical. $1800 for a new iPhone and now a $3 dollar monthly increase for the "services". Gotta love it. Not happy about it but I am in the ecosystem hard core so ... there's that. It's not as bad as Netflix and some others.

Apple Music sucks anyhow…the app is buggy and they make weird choices (can’t download radio shows or even bookmark them, can’t add an album to the library without also adding all the songs on it to the library too).

T-Mobile includes Apple TV+ in its most expensive plan, as well as Netflix and Paramount+ (with ads). So this makes T-Mo an even better value.

I bet these price increases are there to offset sports licenses for MLB, MLS Soccer and possibly College Football along with the possibility of the NFL. You are talking about a couple of billion dollars maybe more.
The prices will go up again if it is due to that, but they know they can't hike it too much in one move. So a little here and a little again next time in the not too distant future.

The surprising part for me is that the price of News+, Fitness+ and iCloud did not also increase!

Thats why its always good to diversify. I use free Spotify with the ads and meets all my music needs. For video, there is the free Amazon Prime I get through work. I do pay for iCloud storage because I got tired of the nags. But this is the society we have become: rent, subscribe and gig economy.
