I would call it a tri-core since only 3 can be used at any time.
The 12 core GPU is a big leap from the A10's 6 core though.
Lol at everyone who denied that the op had knowledge of future apple releases. Apparently he has a lot more than any of us.
The 12.9" model has been refreshed as well with the expected A10X, True Tone, and 120 Hz.
The camera has been upgraded to 12MP and 7MP on the back and front, respectively.
Every iPad since the original in 2010 has had a "10 hour" battery life according to Apple. It's a marketing spec rather than an engineering spec. The 9.7-inch iPad (2017) performed far better than 10 hours in benchmarks. Only benchmarks will reveal the true battery life for the new iPad Pro (2017).
According to my information, 0.3mm thicker but that could be wrong of course so nobody can no for sure until they update the site.
No Mention on RAM Apple never mentions RAM we needs to wait for a Teardown for that once the device releases.
So far the 10.5" iPad Pro look Amazing same Size as 9.7" just bigger display.

6 Core CPU Really it's just an A9 with 1 Extra Core Each. Only 3 are useable at any given time.

This iPad Pro (2017) launch was a bit too logical. Not too many surprises. Anyone else feel this way?
- Timing of product launch: Obviously before September since Apple wasn't going to launch A10X at the same time as A11.
- No iPad Pro Mini: Couldn't be more obvious due to UX and market forces of a mini iPad.
- 120 Hz refresh: Leaked in iOS 10.3.
- True Tone: Obvious since the 9.7-inch already had it.
- 64 GB base storage and USB 3.0 protocol for fast charging and data transfer: Interesting and likely similar for iPhone X.
- iOS 11: Have to wait until hands on test. But drag and drop and redesigned app switcher are low hanging fruit.
Same here. Also, I'm expecting at least 3D Touch or Amoled display next year, so I'm gonna wait for that.
