Dare I say it?

With Steve Jobs being in the country, could it finally be the The Beatles announcement? (I don't think so, but still...)

obviously this is going to be centered around the iPhone in the UK and it being official.

good, more iPhones in the world.

Maybe they will announce an added feature to the iPhone, but not likely.

Although it does seem like a big bunch of hype just to announce that the UK had a carrier....

for the love of god, just mention Canada as a potential place for the iPhone...even if it's just in passing....give me something to hold onto !!!!

It'll be announcing the UK iPhone on O2, no 3G, available mid oct or november, and the price/plans probably.

I'm hoping he'll also release a big iPhone software update...1.1.1.1, adding WiFi iTunes store, and a load of other features!

We shall soon see...

Well, none of the normal people I know think iPhone is big, in fact people thought it's thin for what it is. By the way, Blackberry is weak due to the fact that windoze mobile is a crippled version of a buggy inefficient windoze OS, containing a browser that is nowhere near the usability of Safari on iPhone.

Hmm, last I checked the Blackberry Pearl I used didn't run windows mobile. try again.

Who cares about the stupid Beatles anymore. You can get their music for pennies nowadays in the used CD bin.

Looks interesting, but I really hope there is going to be more than just the iPhone Europe or UK launch, I mean really what more is there to say about the iPhone? We all know the features it's just who will carry it and how much.

Do you really think the Apple store in Regent Street makes much money? The place is one big marketing campaign in any case so they may as well hold media events there rather than hiring a 3rd party venue.

Apple have reported that Regent Street is one of, if not the most profitable stores they have.

The Beatles' catalog will be the most downloaded catalog on iTunes, even if people already own their cds they'll still download. So I would say that Apple cares.
