Yes it is free for the same currency the used card has.

This is wrong; Curve is free if you use it on foreign currencies... 0% FX fee for up to 500€/month. No matter, which card you use! And: best currency conversion rates available!

And, whenever we will have Apple Pay, i can put only that Curve Card into AP and that works?

Should be... you only use your Curve card and you also have the Curve app to change the CC you are going to use

So it’s only free for the First 500€ i use the curve card for each month? And then there is a fee?

Or is it free when I pay in same currency as card is and the first 500€ are free of a fee when paying in different currency?

When paying in foreign currencies. In Euro or the home currency of your card it is completely free

Small update on my side... All cards of mine now show an error when trying to add them. Apple seems to have "locked down" now. Are users with comdirect / Hanseatic Bank cards still getting to the terms and conditions? Does anyone here have a DeuBa Bank Card plus / MC Debit? Would be interesting to see if they have something ready on their end.

T&Cs are not displayed anymore for comdirect VISA cards since Tuesday.

So I think last week was a last test before launch. We‘ve seen T&Cs from a lot of banks. Now testing is over and it‘s on Apple to flip the switch. Would be a normal procedure for IT releases in the financial sector.

Oh yeah, it will definitely happen next week. My iPhone needs a new battery, so I need to send it in and my ****ing watch is broken... and the Series 4 models are not really deliverable...

So yes, Apple Pay will start next week, when I am completely without an Apple device supporting nfc...

Maybe I can have a backup iPhone from work. Have to check tomorrow...
[doublepost=1540132747][/doublepost]You can thank me next week...

Honestly. I don't see why that would be relevant? You think he needs to be here to push some magic button? He has Jennifer Bailey as his SVP to deal with all this stuff.

I still think that it will launch this coming week, but honestly see Tim being in the country as a coincidence.

Maybe visiting Wirecard, the new provider for Apple Pay cash in Europe or some fancy new banking startup implementing Apple pay.

Well okay

„Well okay“ this does not mean anything at all - still. Don’t know why people keep thinking that every time a bank pushes out a update for an app or takes the website offline for whatever reasons that it is Apple Pay related.

Same goes for Cook being in Germany. I don’t see any reason why this would be necessary. He does not need to be here physically in order to launch Apple Pay. You guys ever saw him in Russia or Spain or wherever before they launched AP?

It’s only a little more over a week left this month so I guess we just sit it out and leave the hype train.

Sure there is no reason he „needs“ to be here to start AP. but him being here would be something to think of, when planning a start in the last week or next week... when talking (dunno if he’s really talking) at that conference would make a great talk to speak about Apple Pay, just started/starting today/tomorrow/whenever and talking bout data protection at apple and what it means in terms of payment etc

Sure he’s not here to start AP but him being here, he could also literally hit the button
