11.21pm CET would be 4.21am in KZ. So it's pretty much the same time as in BE.

yeah, bit this seems to me as someone is hitting a button and nothing like a scheduled update. no-one would schedule such an update to be released at 4.21...

If they already updated the overall regions page, it will not happen today. Just my 2 cents.

think that too

Well if Apple Pay in Germany and Saudi Arabia would launch tomorrow, it wouldn’t be the first time different countries launched on two consecutive days.

For me, this whole Apple Pay Germany release thing is absolutely ridiculous. Apple let us down multiple times in the past and they continue to do so.

If apple wasn’t some kind of my hobby, I would turn my back on them and never buy their products again. :(

Can’t help imagine Borat buying one of those swimsuits with Apple Pay now and riding back home on his mule in KZ.lol

What multiple times? Are you referring to Apple Pay?

Because if we forget all our rumours and discussions and the multiple people with "inside sources", we only know one thing -- Apple Pay will be released in Germany some time in 2018. That still holds true.

There's still a *very* small chance that AP will launch today. It's not impossible

I think so, too. But it's ruining my mood daily xD

I would be interested to know if it will come out in the end, why it took so long. But I don't think anyone wants to know it any more.

Our funny little guy n4p84 is still bravely tweeting ... At least we get to see him smacked in the face today again. ^^

No, not just AP. Remember all failed or late releases, maps transitions, NEWS, TV, EKG, ...

Well. Yes. Apple TV is horrible in every country (no multi-user support), I don't see what's specific about Germany here. Apple News requires a news room with staff in the way that they are intending it to be and it's only been released in 2 countries yet. EKG requires approval which can only be obtained after release, and is only available in the US so far.

We are complaining from a very comfortable position. Most other companies only release their products in the US and are even slower, if ever, to bring them overseas.

Its not like they promised any of this. News was never to be releleased in Germany. The TV app wasnt announced either. And the EKG was only announced for the US and "to be added to more countries further down the road". I know it sucks that some features of iOS are not available outside of the US but thats life.

Hey - short OT: We're probably the best country for Dual SIM support! The US doesn't even have it yet and the only carrier in the UK to support it is EE (with a half-baked version).

I think Apple is doing pretty well compared to the services mess other companies have produced in the past. EKG is a damn cool thing but falls under very strict regulation. Our advantage will be living in the EU. Once they get the go-ahead from the authorities, it should be available very quickly.

@ sir-hd

BTW since you mentioned Dual SIM: For all those of you who travel a lot and have a dual sim iphone check out gigsky. This is amazing. Just chose your region you are travelling to and chose how much data/days you want and download the esim profile and you are good to go. Dont want to advertise them but since we are off topic anyway. ^^ And you are not only bound to one country you select a whole region like Russia for example and you can use your data all over europe. But its a little on the expensive side. Still for people travelling alot its easier than getting a sim in the specific country.
